The crew was terrific!
Baggage time was awful and seat way too small . The flight staff was the only reason I rated this acceptable. I just flew to Rome on United. Much better for comfort
I had read terrible reviews after I booked, but I didn’t have any issues. I was annoyed that I printed my boarding pass at home home but still has to get on line to get one. That added time to check in, but I always go early. FYI they board from the back of the plane, but front. I had read people complaining it was chaotic- no more chaotic than boarding by groups. Listen from your section, get up and line up- but you know people all just want to get on at the same time regardless of where you sit. Staff was wonderful both at ticketing and on board. Old plane? Yes. Lack of entertainment? Yes. Plane food is plane food. The only I ever had that was great was on Cathy Pacific ten years ago. It’s a cheap ticket. If you’re short like me, you’re fine. You’re tall, you’re screw. But that’s every plane now a days. Just stick to weight limits and you’ll be fine.
Need more leg room!,
Flew my mom on La Premiere because she is 85, and bought the tickets well in advance so that they were not too expensive for her one flight a year to come see the family. It was great for her, someone walked her through TSA and to the lounge, and then to the plane, she got a wheelchair right away (sometimes at Miami you can easily wait 45 minutes to get a wheelchair), and that made the process a lot less stressful and tiresome for her. Flight was Air France, it looks like they are coming back in terms of their customer service, stopped flying them ten years ago or so after some bad experience, but if possible and not too expensive would do that again for her next year
for the same price you can get more confort in other companies
I was expected to pickup a stroller at the gate in my layover in Paris and it was not returned even when it has a tag saying that and I had to stay 3 hrs in Paris’s airport with my baby sleeping over my hands. In addition to that, my bag did not arrive to Dubai with me and I had to stay the whole day Today in Dubai with inappropriate clothes (pant, long sleeves shirt and same underwear in a super hot day) and then spend almost $500 just for a short, a T-shirt and a pair of shoes and pray to see if my bag is delivered tonight in the hotel. So, people who is handling with the baggage are not professional at all.
American Airlines, a major US carrier should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves. For a transcontinental flight to Europe the seats were painfully uncomfortable, the food served literally should not be served to a dog! And while the AA executives pull in millions of dollars in salaries , compensations and benefits they treat their customers like cattle being led to the slaughter. Don't believe me? Book a flight from the US to Europe and see for yourself!!!
Other destination and waited almost 2 h to get a flight with Virgin airlines, Bad sit location, and crowded plane, very uncomfortable flight
