Tame is the best airline for travelling Ecuador. They helped me change flights, sit next to new friends, and provided a very relaxed atmosphere for my entire trip.
Guayaquil is a charming port city that features colonial buildings and historic sites. In up to two hours, you can fly from Quito to Guayaquil. You will take the Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) to fly to Guayaquil. You can get to the origin airport via bus, taxi, coach, car rental or shuttle.
Malecon 2000 is a primary attraction of Guayaquil as you receive a relaxing view of the Guayas River from the boardwalk. Numerous historical monuments, museums, gardens and shopping malls are located along the Malecon 2000 as well. A landmark that indicates the end of the riverfront is the Museo Antropologico y de Arte Contemporaneo, which is an archaeology and anthropology museum. A neighborhood with a charming atmosphere that guests love is the Plaza Lagos, which consists of upscale restaurants, outside cafes, fountains, palm trees and an artificial lake.
You ll fly into Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport (GYE). The temperature in Guayaquil mostly ranges from 69 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. During your stay in Guayaquil, you can travel via car rental, taxi or bus. Two major annual events in Guayaquil are the weeklong Fiestas de Guayaquil in July and Guayaquil Independence Day on October 9. If you want to avoid the big street parties, plan your vacation at a different time.
