Despite slight delay in departure, we made it to our destination on a easy, pleasant and relaxing flight. Thanks for a positive experience!
nothing to add, good flight and on time.
Economical flight. The Ford focus of airliners.... Not super comfy but it got me to my destination safely and cheaply
Reclining seats would be nice
Great easy trip with no issues.
New Orleans is known as "the Big Easy" for its party atmosphere. When you fly from Tampa to New Orleans, consider taking a taxi to avoid paying for parking at Tampa International Airport (TPA). The smooth flight is around one hour.
The French Quarter is the old city that still retains the architecture of centuries ago. Hotels and apartments with balconies that overlook the streets abound. Be prepared for all-night partying in this festive neighborhood. Also visit Congo Square-Louis Armstrong Park at 701 North Rampart Street, adjacent to the French Quarter. This site is where the slaves met on Sundays to play music and sell goods. Today, the park honors Armstrong, the most famous jazz musician from the city and the man who created the genre.
A flight from Tampa to New Orleans will land at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Once there, walk to ground transportation to arrange a shuttle ride into the Central Business District (CBD) or the historic French Quarter, two places where you'll find the top hotels in town. You may want to visit New Orleans between February and May, which is Mardi Gras season and when the weather is a pleasant 60 to 70 degrees. Visit in July if you want lower hotel rates, but know that the temperature is usually higher than 90 degrees in the summer.
