Flight time from New Orleans to Orlando is approximately one hour 45 minutes. However, as Orlando is one hour ahead of New Orleans, you’ll technically touch down around three hours after you take off.
On the way home, your flight will take a little longer. Planes travelling from east to west often encounter strong headwinds and this has an impact on how fast they can travel. On average, your return flight from Orlando to New Orleans will take 10 to 15 minutes longer than the outbound leg.
