however, baggage did take around 30 mins to show up which may negatively impact travelers on a time constraint
If you're a wheelchair person, don't take the Princess shuttle to the Fort Lauderdale airport. They don't unload you anywhere near the Jet Blue terminal.

McCarran International Airport is located at 5757 Wayne Newton Boulevard, 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas. Four airlines offer flights from Las Vegas to Miami: US Airways, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines. Flights heading to Miami depart from Terminal 1.
If you need to park your car at the airport while you travel, you can use the long-term parking lot outside Terminal 1 for $14 per day. The airport also has an off-site economy parking lot, located on Kitty Hawk Way. It costs $8 per day to park in the economy lot. Shuttle buses transport passengers from the lot to the terminal every 15 minutes. If you don't want to drive yourself to the airport, you can get there by bus or taxi. If you take the bus, you'll be dropped off on Level 0 of Terminal 1. Bus tickets cost $2 per person. If you have time to kill before your flight, the airport houses an aviation museum, a kids' play area, numerous shops and a variety of restaurants. You can get Mexican food at Baja Fresh, grab a sandwich at Big Al's Chicago Deli or have pizza at the California Pizza Kitchen.
