Panama City owes its cosmopolitan culture to its heritage as a major trading center. Today, visitors can marvel at the Panama Canal, as well as enjoying the beautiful colonial buildings of the old center.
Once in Panama City, many visitors head straight for the canal. The informative visitor center at Miraflores locks is also a good place to start, and of course a boat trip is the ideal way to experience the canal. Casco Viejo is the old part of Panama City, and here you'll find many historic buildings as well as new and fashionable boutiques, shows, and restaurants like Super Gourmet, which serves up deli style cuisine.

Don't miss Panama Viejo; situated in the suburbs, this was the original site of the city, before it was ransacked by the pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. Now a World Heritage Site, it's a fascinating place to explore.

It was a great flight overall!
The layover was to long.
this was my first flight with COPA airlines, i was thankful that i got upgraded since the system was unable to give me a second boarding pass for my second leg. the first leg appeared to be longer and although i had an aisle seat, those seats were hard and i was very uncomfortable. also since i booked last minute i could not check in online and request vegetarian option but i am thankful that the leg back to orlando was very comfortable and the flight attendant was very professional especially since she had be bilingual
Even got a small snack for an hour long flight.
Smooth flight. Helpful friendly staff. Well organized.
Loved the flight!
Short flight and still got a snack and drink included, they spoke english to me without me even asking. Very nice staff!
Simple. This Airlines os amazing
I will recommend this airline. Good meal with two glasses of wine (albeit small ones). So easy to check in. Direct flight to Panama. On-time departure and early arrivals. Nothing in US compares
