Room was smaller than expected and layout resulted in wasted space in the corners which made it seem even smaller. I requested a fridge (since we were staying 4 nights and we had perishables, as food in the park is limited). Our request was treated like it need approval from the Pope. In the end, we got the fridge, but I guess I didn't specify it should actually work, which it did not! Nevertheless, I ended up using it as a smelly cooler, continuously feeding it ice. In addition, there was dust on the dresser, and when I asked a housekeeper who was right outside my door to please empty the trash in my room, she did not. Also, since I booked on Orbitz, I was told I was “not eligible” for the $5/night credit for no housekeeping. Overall, a very poor experience, not even considering they are still in the stone ages with NO wifi and barely any cell service. And very little ability to do online bookings. All this for over $400/night! Xanterra should be fired by the national park service and replaced with a competent property manager.

Stunning park and lovely room. The only issue was that there is no wifi, and the ethernet dongles they lend were not available

very greedy restaurant and very poor breakfast buffet without any descent bread in the morning. unacceptable !

I know it’s in YNP, but it would have been nice to have either cellular service OR WiFi. It was difficult to plan our days in the park without one or the other. Couldn’t access weather, road closures, hiking trails, etc. No tv.
