Going to a conference at the Yellowstone National Park? There are worse places to talk business. That being said, dining options in and around the park are limited and a bit of research is needed to avoid the major tourist traps. To take away the hassle, we have done the research for you.
The Lake Yellowstone Hotel Dining Room serves American-style dishes with a view of Yellowstone Lake. Expect a limited menu that changes from season to season with meals priced at the higher end of the scale. You certainly pay just as much for the beautiful setting as you do for the food and service.
Right at the edge of the park, at 205 Yellowstone Ave, you can dine on a hearty meal at the Three Bear Restaurant. Steaks, burgers, and pasta make up the majority of the main courses and are brought to you by always-smiling staff.
Wild West Pizzeria at 14 Madison Ave combines live music at the bar with a quieter dining room where you can build your own pizza, order chicken wings, or get one of the many beers on offer. If you are undecided what to pick, the waiters will gladly make a recommendation. Bullwinkles Saloon & Eatery at 115 N Canyon St is another Yellowstone restaurant which is mostly known for its steaks and burgers as well as its constantly changing beer menu. Food is served at simple wooden tables or at the bar by the helpful staff.
Visiting Yellowstone National Park is more than beautiful hikes. Visit Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Geyser or the Castle Geyser for some amazing natural water highlights. You can find these highlights along the road to one of the aforementioned restaurants.
