Stayed here in a double bed room for 2 nights with my daughter, the location was great (less then 3 minutes from the Yellowstone west entrance). Staff and the hotel owner were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi connection was good, I would stay here again and recommend this place.

Staff was friendly and helpful . The hotel is close to the park entrance. It is also in the center of the city

We were very dissapointed in the room. It was very small and in need of upkeep. The bathroom particularly needing attention. Had to leave the room and go to a common area in another building for ice, coffee, etc. The website pictures were deceiving to the actual property.

The staff was friendly and the location was central for an easy walk to most stores and restaurants in the area. The room was average. It was a place to lay our head for the night and for that it served its purpose.

Loved the feeling of old town overnight. Very unique . I can stay at Holiday Inn anywhere.

Rustic with updated rooms. Closeness to West gate of Yellowstone.

Hotel staff is so friendly. Old-style hotel is cozy.

Super friendly hotel owners with helpful staff and recently renovated rooms in center of West Yellowstone. Complimentary 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Wonderful place to stay as base for visiting Yellowstone Park.

If you like the historic feel, this is super. Sat on the upper veranda and met other guests and watched other travelers. It is right in the middle of West Yellowstone.

This hotel is over 100 years old. It is charming in the historic sense including bathrooms down the hall for some rooms and no TV except in the living room. Coffee is "down the hall" as are group refrigerators. For a two night stay, we were happy, especially because we did have our own in-room bathroom! Otherwise, it wouldn't have been as fun.

This is a hostel for $100+ per night. The room is tiny and walls built out of wood not drywall. The walls are so thin you can talk to the front desk through your floor boards. The blankets are thin and bed is tiny. This is not quaint it's a bait and switch. We tried to check in at 1pm and they wouldn't give us the key even though we were going into the park until late. They do this so you have a hard time complaining. The family that runs this dormitory is super conservative so don't come here if you smoke weed. I took a couple of puffs out the window the night before to sleep and they said the room reeks of weed smell. Totally BS $100 fine I wish I had rented a campsite or paid $100 extra for a room we're I can't touch the door and the window in the same stretch.

What a great place to stay! Very charming log cabin-style decor with lots of old west details. We stayed 2 nights (not consecutive) and the second night our bathroom only had a bathtub with no shower. However, there are 2 showers at the end of the hall for anyone to use, plus 2 extra bathrooms, so this was not a problem.

Cool place to stay. The rooms were decorated very nice and to look antique. We would stay there again

Historic property so some compromises but good location. No restaurant in hotel but many nearby

We are close unless you consider two blocks to be to far. with being built in 1912 it is only natural that the city has built up around us and we are in the center of the Old Town Business District. We are Glad to see that you enjoyed your stay.

The photos are just what my iPhone takes, no trickery here. The rooms in the hotel are 100-108 years old and the motel some are from the 1920's to with recent remodeling too and are maintained to the original creation as much as possible. We are not a Marriott, if you want what they offer, stay there please, we have a REAL, Historic hotel that has small rooms at a competitive price. I you walked less than a hundred feet or so to get your coffee and ice we apologize for that to, it is what it is. We make no apologizes for what we offer and do our best to be affordable and clean. Reviews like this give people perspective, and that is OK. Not knowing who your are or what room needs attention, does not help us resolve anything, thanks for nothing.

We have a Historic property with the challenges this brings. It is not a Modern, 5 star place as you know but we really make a strong effort to provide a clean, safe and comfortable and most of all competitive price so you can enjoy seeing Yellowstone.

We Work Hard to keep this place a place that you would choose above a Chain Type Hotel, though there some Fine Chain Hotels that are much newer and have many more things like a swimming pool and other things. We however have Yellowstone on our door step. thanks for staying here and for your kind words.
