Overall, the hotel was great. Both of the women working the front desk on each night I stayed were great. Unfortunately, the same weekend we had booked was also a weekend of a youth hockey tournament. Our room was right next to the conference room where they held get togethers and parties for the teams which wouldn't be so bad if the team and parents weren't obnoxious. But the lady at the front was super helpful and had no problem putting them in their place. That was only downfall, but facility, cleanliness, room was great!! Loved the divider in the room that split the "bedroom" from the rest of the suite, which I didn't even know I was getting! Coffee 24/7 in the lobby was clutch!! Overall, place was great and I'll totally stay again. Just got unlucky staying next to a bunch of hockey families.

Front desk person at check in was amazing. Welcoming, gave great advice, and very helpful.

This was my second stay at the hotel this year. I stayed here back in the winter. I was pleased to see that the beds/mattresses were new and they had gotten new towels. Those were two things I wasn't thrilled with last stay. It seems like a good sign that they are making improvements to the property because it definitely needs it. I hope they do more. It's a great location. Walking distance to the town square. The front desk staff are great. The lobby is very cozy and inviting. They always have hot water for tea and lots of ice water which is great. I would stay here again but would request that we be on the upper floors. Apparently the lower level, which has doors that open to the backyard/pool area is where smoking guests like to stay. The manager was very nice when I told him I wasn't happy about people smoking outside our room. He immediately spoke with that guest and asked him to smoke out behind the pool area. He also offered to move us to another room. I didn't feel this was necessary as he had addressed the issue and it was not a problem again during our stay. I'll just ask for a higher floor in the future. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The assistant manager and manager are very helpful and ever present. Waterville Valley seems to be making a comeback and I feel like this Inn is trying to be part of that rejuvenation. Not all the lodging is doing this. Such an absolutely gorgeous location. We will be back!!!

It is a nice little place in a gorgeous area. very quiet. The rooms were nice and comfy.

Perfect Location. Great parking. Friendly staff. Clean room. Very Accommodating for Our Event . Had no problem with us bringing bikes into the room. And asked us everyday how we did. Made us feel very welcome. Bent over backwards to solve a little problem as fast as possible. Made our weekend a huge success. Cant wait to go back.

The Valley Inn is an OK place to stay if you don't mind paying through the nose. Though fine, all in all, it's extremely pricey for the quality of the place. The rooms are nothing special, the bathrooms minuscule. The walls/floors et cetera are paper thin. There's no pool access during the winter (if you care) but they do give you complementary passes to one at the Waterville Valley athletic club. It required driving and was fairly run down, there was a big weight room though. Plus side: the hotel lobby was nice and it's close to the center of the village (a few shops) and a short drive to Waterville Valley. You're paying to stay close to the mountain and there's really no other reason to be there in the winter. There are a few other hotel options in town, all fairly similar. Next time I would consider staying further out and driving.

The hotel was nice, for what we wanted - just a place to stay close to skiing. We got the room half price, so it really was a great deal. It's a pretty standard hotel room, pretty roomy, but you could tell it's not brand new. It was very close to the town center and skiing, though, and staff was very friendly.

Thank you for you review. We try to place non-hockey reservations in other areas of the hotel, but it is not always possible. Looking forward to seeing you again.
