It is the cheapest hotel in the city so do not expect the nicest. For the price though, it is generally clean with outdated decor. The location is park-like with a short to some very nice areas. There are closer places but they will cost much more.

Great stay if you need a early morning check in.

Hotel was in a terrible location. Had no parking-no lot, valet, etc. Hotel staff said that was the way it was in DC. (BS). Finally found a place to park on street, but had to have car moved by 7:00 a..m. or it would be towed. Got to room--it was like an oven-must have been over 85 degrees in it. Called desk, was told they had shut off a/c because it was fall and that only the heat was on. They said they could come up to open window. I told them that I did not feel safe with window open in that neighborhood. Finally left--still fighting with them about a refund. We stayed at Red Roof Inn and was very happy.

There comes a time in the decline of a hotel where people stop caring, the owner, the staff, even the people staying there. This has been the case here for some time. Our bathtub felt like we were standing on a waterbed as they had attempted to have it refinished but water had leaked under the new layer. This made it both uncomfortable and dangerous. The toilet refilled so slowly that we could only flush about once every half-hour. They claim to have central air and heat, but they say they only turn it on in certain seasons (we were not there in one of those seasons). We told the front desk we would be checking out very early (and it was early, 3am), but when we arrived to checkout, we found the attendant asleep behind the desk on a makeshift bed. All this to say that they are beyond the point of caring. The price and location are the only reason to even consider staying here.

The place was really clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good for such a small location. The wall sockets were a little loose, so my chargers kept falling out. I also wish the toiletries came with conditioner and not just shampoo. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The place is unsafe. There is noone at the desk at night, and the door is open. Random people can come and leave. I was awaken by people trying to enter my room or knocking violently on the two nights there. The second night a group of people were screaming the corridors at 4:00am, and banging on my door, waking me up. I thought they would enter and attack me. The light in the room wasn't working. the walls are paper thin and you hear everything your neighbors are doing. Avoid if you can.

Extremely old rooms with limited breakfast choices in a residential area 15 minutes away from the restaurant area. However, the hotel is in a safe area, 30-40 minutes walking to the White House.

The bed sheets and blankets were ditry with hairs on them. I had to change my room four times and still found hairs on the bed sheet and blanket of the fourth room. One of the trash cans in my forth room was not even emptied. The internet got cut many times and I had trouble connecting to wifi. It was late at night and I could not leave the hotel and find another hotel. I skippedthe hotel breakfast next morning because I was afraid become sick; Experiencing dirty bed sheets/blankets in the Windsor Park Hotel, I doubted the hotel cared about food safety. The so called manager did not even bother himself to appologize for the discomfort and inconvenience I experienced in the Windsor Park Hotel. I do not recommend Windsor Park Hotel to tourists. I ask the organization who issued the certificate for the Windsor Park Hotel to consider their decison of calling this property a hotel.

Great value for the money. Great location Beds were just ok

This was a terrible hotel. In one room, the heat was stuck over 80 degrees F. I moved room and that room was cold, with the hallway door open and the outdoor temp around 30 degrees F. In addition, the toilet didn't work. Front desk clerk tried to be helpful, but terrible condition.

The room was extremely hot upon arrival. The heater was on, there is only one setting, on or off. The AC wasn’t working so we had to sit in the heat waiting for the window to cool the room down. Granted, it was an unusually warm day in DC at this time of the year, but the heat on in a warm weather was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was fine.

The Windsor Park hotel provides a nice, quiet, and convenient location for those visiting downtown DC.

The hotel definitely needs some updating. The room was fine. The continental breakfast was fine. The elevator was a bit small and slow but it worked. Some reviews I read talked about dirty sheets, rooms, etc. I didn't find that. The room was clean, just not your typical hotel standards. I was a bit concerned about parking but the desk attendant moved his car and let me park in front overnight. I believe it would have been several blocks to a nearby parking garage. The price was right. While I might not recommend it to a friend, I don't know that I would tell them to not stay there. The location was good.

Ok but way overpriced . Old and run down. No parking

Close to Dupont Circle, and especially Adams Morgan restaurants a comfortable walk away. It's an older hotel, quite functional, clean but don't expect a high modern decor. This is a reliably basic hotel for sleeping. You can gat your glamour elsewhere during the day and sleep in basic tan colors.

It was my first visit to Washington DC, a short trip. The hotel made my trim easier coz is located in a. Wry comfortable area.

Can't beat the price and location. However, the staff were very slow and not particularly helpful. The wifi was essentially unusable. Really - might as well say you don't have wifi.

The hotel is very old but clean definitely needs major renovations. Everything from carpets to ceilings have to be remodeled. Great location, 7 minutes walk to Dupont Circle Metro Station, 15 minutes walk to the Smithsonian National Zoo. Variety of cafes and restaurants around. Overall not a bad experience.

We all remember your ranting and raving, about the parking lot that we advertise we DO NOT HAVE. You were staying in the best neighborhood in Washington, with great people, just might not be your kind of people. Thank you for the funny story, and good luck with life with that attitude. We are aslo aware of how abusive you were to our evening desk clerk, and would love to speak with you about that.

I assure you this hotel has a 24 hour staff, and the door is being watched. This hotel is completely safe, as stated by our review history. I'm sure there were some noisy guests over labor day weekend, but your review is an inaccurate opinion.
