The building is a historical one but the rooms have been updated (especially the bathroom). The value for money is great because of the location, and cleanliness of the rooms

Historic property, and decor reflects it with bare brick walls. But bathroom very modern, beds comfortable, etc. Overall a nice experience.

This is a convenient and economical option in downtown DC. Surprisingly quiet, too!

Front desk staff were really sweet and amazing and welcoming

I enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and unique.

Very clean, quiet. The room is quite small, but the bathroom and shower are not. Good location, nicely decorated, good value.

The location is great!!! The room was small, but clean, and had everything I needed. My room had a brick wall in front of the windows, so the room was pretty dark, other than that, everything was pretty good.

Good location. A few minor things that they could change 1) have a separate switch for the bathroom fan from the light. The fan was very noisy and irritating, 2) Place a towel hook close to the shower. 3) Leave or replace a used shower cap (impossible not to get your hair wet with the overhead shower - the maid took the cap when she cleaned on the 1st day).

Great Location, close enough to walk to all locations when visiting D.C

There was no breakfast and the insulation in the building was horrible. I could hear the ambulance and the police vehicles driving by in the middle of the night like I was outside but other than that the hotel was outstanding.

Great location, friendly staff, easy access to all

Great location. Unique and well-kept hotel. Room was perfect for our needs. Coffee was good in the morning.

Within walking distance of Mall area. Good price. Exactly what I wanted. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean, functional hotel. Excellent location. Right off K street.

Huge room. Great location. The property is old but newly remodeled. Lots of windows, quiet (during week), great food next door at post pub.

If all you need is a place to sleep and shower, this hotel works well. The window AC unit is loud however it provided white noise that blocked out the street noise. Concerned that a key is not needed to use the elevator. A decent value for the location.
