We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at the Park Hyatt.

Beautiful hotel, my girlfriend and I checked in to celebrate her birthday and everything was perfect from the hotel staff to the excellent service in the blue duck tavern. The reason I couldn’t give the hotel 5/5 is because of the valet. I parked my vehicle via hotel valet and upon pick up, my front right tire pressure was -20 compare to other 3 tires. When I questioned the valet, he was very defensive about not causing the leak and blamed it on the cold weather. I’m no mechanic but tire pressure doesn’t just drop by 20 psi in 2 days while other 3 are fine. Worst part was he didn’t even offer to help, instead tried to make me drive on a flat tire to a gas station blocks away. Luckily there was a friendly bystander who had a portable air pump and I was able to have enough air pressure to drive to a nearby shop to get the leak plugged. I expected more from a 5 star hotel and was very upset with the way the valet handled the situation. A rather disappointing finish to an would be perfect experience.

The property is very nice. Really liked the decor. Only negative was the AC was noisy and really sucked the moisture out of the room. It was uncomfortable.

Superb hotel. Spotless, clean and a wonderful scented lobby. Can not wait to return.

Excellent hotel in a fun part of town. The only negative was how expensive valet was. But we had a great time.

No place to park in front of the hotel, very hard to stop and drop some one.

This was a very disappointing stay. The setup in the room was not what we are use to. The lights were all controlled by 2 panels and the heat control was a little different. This would not have been an issue if there were instructions in the room but there we could not find any. When we called the desk asking where the instructions were, we were told it was in a leather bound book on the desk. Trust me when I tell you there was no book. They did send one up and soon we had figured out how to work things. Great. I was fighting a slight cold and so was using up the tissues in the room. No problem as we all know the hotel will repleanish supplies, correct? Nope. Empty box of tissue was not replaced. We used the coffee maker in the morning. The coffee was restocked but not the cups. Do we drink the coffee from our hands? Also, no new glassware. But the kicker had to be that the was no backup roll of toilet paper. Great! You guessed it. We had to call to get more. Ugh! We will not be staying here again anytime soon. Oh by the way, we ate ate the Blue Duck when we arrived and my wife was served raw chicken. That should have served as a warning.!

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It is located in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants and things to do nearby and just a short walk to Georgetown.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels; I must say this is one of the best. It's very contemporary and modern located downtown within walking distance of many restaurants. I will give the Hyatt carefully onward.

great location Blue Duck Tav is a wonderful place to eat any meal or hit the bar.

Great food onsite , location is perfect for Georgetown.

Great hotel. The area is accessible to all the major DC attractions. You are a 5 minute walk to the shopping of Georgetown. A 10 minute walk to Arlington National Cemetary and probably a 15 minute walk to the White house. The area is great, fairly new construction feel to it, with tons of restaurants and bars around. The hotel itself was great, comfortable beds, and had a nice luxurious feel to it. While staying make sure to try out the Blue Duck Tavern. Great restaurant by restaurant standards, let alone one located inside the hotel. Just make sure to get a reservation!

I liked the restaurant downstairs, it was great, the new year's party was great. The room was clean, city view a little disappointing. The bathroom and décor were the weakest spots. Only baskets to put undies in. Bathroom was unusual, last updated in 2006. Needed a dresser and redone bathroom. Staff were wonderful, amenities were those of a much nicer hotel. We would stay there again!

The hotel staff was able to accommodate our early arrival. The room was lovely, modern and comfortable. All of the staff members provided great service and were extremely friendly.

In DC for a Board meeting and add-on vacation, the Park Hyatt was a perfect place, combining good location, a spacious, comfortable room with a terrific modern bath/shower suite. We were in a junior suite, and very happy with the wonderful king bed and the separate reading/TV/relaxing/office room. Free bikes for touring DC were a terrific treat, as was the lovely, sun-lit indoor pool for working out the kinks in the afternoon. Then dinner in the excellent Blue Duck, with top food, wine and service. We couldn't be happier.

Very lovely and comfortable hotel, but caters to the business class. As tourists visiting our nation's capitol, we felt that we were invisible beside the suit-clad, hustling business men and women. Restaurant and longe VERY expensive! ($100 for two hamburgers and two beers in the less formal lounge). Friendly staff, but not too good on service: two hour wait and two phone calls when we needed fresh towels and ice. Towels finally arrived, but never received the ice-and the ice has to be delivered as there is no other access. Nice pool and well appointed gym. 10 minute walk to metro. A little too "uppity" for us.. (Espresso machines in rooms, but not regular coffee).

Exactly what you want from a hotel; comfortable room, excellent restaurant, quietly competent staff. We had some minor issues that kept it from total perfection, but still our favorite DC hotel.

The location is a short walk from the center of Georgetown, and not far WH. The bedding is the best, the staff is uniformly cheery, and it's quiet in your room. Resto downstairs is first tier as well.

It's nice when you book a hotel and it meets your expectations and or exceeds it. The Park Hyatt is everything you expect from a high end hotel. Staff was great and helpful, room exceeded expectations, tea bar was fun and different and location was great. All and all no complaints
