After arriving at the hotel, the owner told us they are currently under renovations, but said that the room we booked was the nicest they had. The whole place smelled musty which was forgivable after the water damage they had, but while walking through the hall cigarette smoke was very apparent. One of out electrical outlets wasn't properly installed and wasn't even against the wall, it definitely didn't look safe. If you're a light sleeper you will enjoy the paper thin walls, the gap between the floor and allowing all the noise from the hallway, and in this particular room you will enjoy all the noise from the bar next door. There was no number for the front desk, and no answered the hotel number when we called to complain about all the noise from our neighbors. The tub wouldn't drain when my husband was taking a shower, then the plug popped off when trying to turn the water off. To pay over $100 for a "king suite we expected more, and were extremely disappointed. I personally love historic hotels and the character they offer, but this poorly executed and not ready to be advertised as a "suite" in the past I had heard great things about the Brooks hotel. Since they just took ownership in august i hope these owners can turn it around and provide a good experience for their future customers, but we won't be back.

Great location, needs better air conditioning . Friendly staff, room was clean.

Nice place to stay in downtown Wallace, Idaho. It has a hometown feel and is being upgraded.

Give this hotel a miss. It isn't dirty; its filthy. This hotel hasn't been maintained. The carpets are matted and greasy. The bathrooms are moldy and leak. This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, I paid for the room before I saw it and I was stuck with it as they dont refund your $125 once you have foolishly paid.

It's historic value in the city of Wallace and surrounding area made the stay much more interesting.

It was a nice place to get some rest. It’s not a 5 Star Resort. But it’s clean and safe. The staff were all super nice and friendly. Historic town and funny stories.
