It would have been nice to have been told that the maintenance required sign to the pool was a deterrent for non-registered guests. It was quiet and central for everything we wanted to do in the area.

It was good, the breakfast eggs were so salty, the first day was almost unbearable how salty it was. =/ The second day I went to make waffles and it was all watery the liquid dough. The room was decent, not the comfiest, but it was generally all good.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast included for a very reasonable price. It was easy to find and very close to the downtown Walker shopping area. I would stay there again if the need arose. My sister also had a room and was not as happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom but ours was fine. The pool was closed while we were there so that was disappointing.

We were exhausted upon arrival, having biked from Brainerd to Walker that day. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile, and were allowed to store our bikes in the room. Everyone along the way was helpful and friendly. Beds and pillows were VERY COMFORTABLE! I'm ashamed to say we fell asleep at around 8 pm that night... The complimentary breakfast in the morning allowed us to recharge and take some things for the ride back to Brainerd. Even though we only stayed one night, I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Walker!

You get what you paid for... The room was small, but cozy. The pool was a little sketchy. I would go back if I couldn't afford anywhere else.
