The condos were beautiful inside and out. I liked the flavored coffee creamers left the coffee and tea. We were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed and we had to walk down to a nearby condo pool. It would have been nice to of known this before booking or before the trip. It was also very hard to find anybody on the property that worked there. The management office was always empty. We were supposed to get the pool code from them and it took a while to get through to someone on the phone. A few more garbage bags in the unit would have also been useful. I would stay here again though. Was about a 15 minute walk to the Kings Shops and Queens marketplace.

The Shores at Waikoloa is in a great location: close to ocean, restaurants and shopping. Our condo suite had excellent views of all four mountains on the Big Island. This third-floor condo has a large balcony with comfortable furniture on which to view the mountains and volcanoes. The property is quiet and walkable. The neighborhood is easy to walk around and includes sidewalks and bike lanes. The property is one of the older projects in Waikoloa, so our unit's furnishings cabinets and floors are dated. Remodeling was only partial. But, the rooms are spacious and the appliances and fixtures worked well. We had everything we needed.

When we arrived at the place we were surprise on how big the it is-very spacious. It was such a pleasure to stay so relaxing. The view from the 2nd floor was amazing. It was beyond our expectation. Will definitely recommend it. The staffs at the front desk were very friendly.

Very nice hotel, it is close to Waikiki and in a quiet street. great hotel for families planning a relaxing vacation. I will return.

Everything was great. Alittle out dated. Furnitures old. Pool was being repair.

nice place to stay. wonderful place to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. very quiet and comfortable. well-furnished for family to stay. close to the shops which makes it easier to cook for ourselves. close to the beach.

the location is fine, check in was fine and there is free parking on site. the pool is rather small and several pool chairs were really damaged. the room was very clean, i will give them that. however, it looked like it had the original everything in it from the 70's. even the washer and dryer were super old. i had my husband come and look at them because neither of us had ever seen such an old washer/dryer set. all of the faucets, sinks, and tub looked very dated and the room decor was old hawaii but not in a nostalgic sort of way, more like a sad and gross sort of way. the room smelled funny and the carpet was disgusting. i would not recommend this hotel, especially at the high price. we certainly expected it to be nicer at the price point. we stayed one night at the end of our trip because the condo we rented wasn't available. for less than the price of this hotel room, we had a three bedroom, lovely condo. this was no where near worth it.

The resort is called the "Shores". I was looking for the "Aston Shores", so I missed it the first pass. We called reception, and were told it's by the Hilton. We enjoyed our stay, very quiet, nicely kept property, but dated furniture. Clean and comfortable.

This was probably a great place, 30 years ago. It looks as though it has not been updated since the 80s. We found 30 yr old appliances, what had to be a 1st-gen microwave oven, a 25" standard def TV, and a VHS VCR. The carpet was medium brown and obviously stained. The sofas were so dirty that I didn't even want to touch them. And would it kill them to take a pressure washer to the exterior walkways and stairs? It also had a tiny, dimly lit elevator get get to upper level rooms. They have a workout room, but it isn't kept cooled. Imagine working out in a 90-degree room!

Nice large rooms and great location, Near to shopping, beaches and other resorts.

The Aston Shores is an older property, situated towards the HIlton end of the Waikoloa Beach area. We have stayed at the Outrigger Villas which are closer to the entrance, the King and Queen shops and Anaehoomalu Bay, and we liked them as well. We really liked the large patio area at this condo because we dive and liked the enhanced drying area. Everything else was fine as well, although our unit was a little noisy for some reason. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed the Resort. Very nice

This condo had all the essentials. A great home away from home. We had a beautiful Lanai and the condo was very clean. Overall a great place!

We stayed in Condo #201 for 19 nights. The place was spacious, clean, all the amenities that you need for a long stay. Bathroom was huge- great shower. Great Lanai- for hanging out after dark. The Shores were quiet and relaxing. The pool was small- but perfect for our needs. The hot tub was great when it was working - broke down for the second half of our trip. Beds were comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic. Super friendly and worked hard to take care of everything we needed. Fitness center was clean and had everything we needed. Location was ideal for walking to A-bay beach or hanging out over at the Hilton. Walking distance to Queens and Kings Market place- with everything that you would need. Great jogging every morning around the Waikoloa resort area. It's a hike to most things on the Big Island- but the Shores are close to Waimea and Kona and you definitely need a car if your planning on visiting other sights on the island. Would definitely do the Shores again and recommend them for anyone that wants a nice relaxing vacation in Paradise.

The condo unit was adequate for our needs, but the carpet was quite soiled, otherwise we were satisfied with the accomodations. The complex was quiet and the grounds and buildings were very well kept. The location turned out to be a little farther from Kona than we would have liked, but still an easy distance to get to anywhere we wanted to go. We would stay there again.

I loved the corner top floor room. Very private, very quiet. Comfortable room. The only thing I can say is that they are in desperate need for an appliance upgrade. The fridge and dishwasher have got to be circa 1985. I love the closeness to the best beaches in the islands and the nice shopping available nearby.

Good basic accomadation in a good location. Nothing fancy.
