The first room they put us in had water damage all over the ceiling, the bathroom had black mold in the corners and the wallpaper was coming down. Room 606, in the morning I requested a room change and they did 1104 which was in much better shape. 2nd time we have stayed there, won't be a third. Just run down and desperately in need of renovation.

We liked the location & oceanfront view as well as comfortable beds and two large televisions, but the wallpaper is starting to come off of the wall, the closet clothes bar was rusty and the furniture was very worn.

There was a stained on the side of the queen mattress and my room was oceanfront but I could not access to the balcony and there was some cracks on the sliding door so they put the padlock on in. I asked for another room but no luck. So, I have to accept it.

Three nights at this beach front hotel, nobody came to clean the room. Towels piled up, no new towels, no trash removed. Property in Disrepair. Food terrible. 8:00am to 10:00pm, Navy jets flight path is directly over this hotel. Stay elsewhere in VA beach, further South about 10 blocks is much nicer.

Not too good

Poor room, looked out at the pool, with a person sitting in a pool chair. How was I supposed to look out the window?

Pros: The Sheraton is right off the beach will plenty of rental opportunities (bikes, cabanas, etc.). Our room was clean, we a good-sized fridge, cold a/c, and partial beach view as promised. The outside pool was nice to have after enjoying the beach and the gym was perfect for starting my day. Cons: This establishment is a bit dated. The elevators need to be renovated. Construction of a new hotel next door woke us up at 0530 each morning. All in all, this was a nice stay. You're in walking distance of some awesome eateries and shops. The hotel is pet friendly which was a huge positive for us. I'd look at staying here again if we plan another vacation in the Virginia Beach area.

Avoid. Property is run down and dirty.

Our stay was a nightmare. First off, paid for 2 ocean view rooms and they didn't have them available. Gave us a partial ocean and a pool view. Both rooms were bad. Partial ocean overlooked a construction site (construction started at 7am) and the bathroom was missing items (toilet roll, mirror, plug for sink) and the pool room was stinky and the carpet was wet. We moved from the pool room to one 2nd floor ocean view (I guess they "found" one), but the room was pretty old/beat up. Gave us drink and breakfast coupons for our troubles, but that was a joke. Bartender served weak drinks and we overheard him tell a woman looking for towels that it wasn't his job, she should just call the front desk. Breakfast was so backed up that we had to order it for take out. When we picked it up, we didn't get everything we ordered and they argued with us that we did. The finally went to the kitchen and realized they forgot to give us part of the order. Then we found hair in one of the breakfast meals.....all this for $350/night/room. Don't waste your money!

Our bathroom was flooded, No towels. Could not change room because that was last room available No room phone. No ac in room and matenance man never showed. No ac in restaurant to had to eat in lobby would never go again

Staff was rude and we actually got hung up on when asked why wasn't the room being cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast wait was really long. Hotel is filthy and not worth the cost at all. Will not be staying here again.

The sofa bed couch should have been thrown out. It was a poor excuse for additional bedding. I had to request a rollaway which was fine however it came with the gentlemen delivering it stating he was sorry they were out of blankets and pillows. ???? Thankfully we traveled with a blanket. The following day I asked the front desk to please get us additional pillows for the entire room as the ones on the bed should have been thrown out with the couch. They were flat and limp and lumpy. I also told them about the situation with the rollaway bed. The 2 gentlemen at the desk were taken back at that I was not given any pillows or a blanket. They stated they would take care of it immediately. They tried to....however, again there were no blankets available. They were all dirty. He did find another sheet and 2 pillows. ??? And I won't get into breakfast in the restaurant. Things on the menu were substituted but not told to us until the food arrived. The waitress apologized and offered to send the manager to talk to us. However, I guess the manager didn't care to so she just sent her back and said the manager said sorry and we would get a discount. I would not recommend or stay there again.

not maintained properly. old property. door were not locking. ice mavhine was not working. Bathroom Facets were loosely fit.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Not much going on due to COVID-19.

The Hotel was in a great location, oceanfront and close to everything. My only concern was the room itself (which I already shared with the staff). Speaking of the staff, they were friendly and accommodating.
