Some of the woodwork is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately our carpet in our room was filthy, the bathroom could have been cleaner, only one ice machine was available and it was 4 floors down. When I made the reservation it showed a martini bar up top and a restaurant. We chose this hotel because of the accommodations. The martini bar is closed (probably for good) and the restaurant was only open for breakfast. This information needs to be listed on their website because we stayed for those specific reasons. We would have stayed back at Grand Travers. This is the first time I have ever been this disappointed foe the price we paid per night. They are charging way to much money for a hotel with just a pool and no other amenities

No where to get snack or drink...

This hotel is a classic! The main building has beautiful, early 20th century architecture. We were a bit disappointed our room was not in the main building. There is an addition built over the parking lot that our room was in. Our room was perfect though, in every way except location.

We were rather disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms and overall the rooms, hallways and elevators were very old and dated. It could definitely use a face lift. The lobby was definitely the nicest part, we expected far better especially for the price we paid per night. Thankfully we were out exploring most of the time and didn't spend much time at the hotel.

The hotel is located just a few block from the lake and shopping, restaurants and bars are even closer. The hotel pool is nice and big and the rooms are clean and spacious. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

Good for being downtown. Dated hotel in need of updates or beco

The room i booked was was not the room i got, i paid way mote than others in my group for a tower suite and got a super small closet of a room

We did not receive room cleaning service. We place the sign on the door for cleaning and no one came.

Great location. Room was nice. Bathroom in room and common areas could use updating.

Enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly & rooms were clean.

Manager and staff were very helpful. I was hoping to spend time in their room at the top of the hotel which had views of the bay but it was closed to a private event. They or Orbitz should have told me of this when I booked. I would have stayed somewhere else with better views of the bay for less money

We liked the central location to downtown Traverse. We did not like the cooperation of the staff while we were on this trip. Our hotel window was open and let a bunch of bugs in our room. We had to try and kill all the bugs ourselves only to receive a noise complaint with no warning from the front desk. It was a nice and clean hotel otherwise. The hotel bar at the top of the hotel is worth a visit. We will come back for the view but we won't be staying here again.

the toilet had poop stains inside and other stains on the outside...it was disgusting. you dont want to see that esp during corona time.
