Close to everything!

Its an ok place to stay but what made it uncomfortable is that It’s a non-smoking hotel but didn’t seem like it. The hallway and room smelled a lot like cigarette. The smell was very strong. The room needed a deep cleaning. Found hairs in shower and in bed sheets.

Very overpriced for the condition of the hotel. The room had a bad odor and the freezer defrosted leaving the carpet wet.

I have been staying at this property for many years. It is convenient for me due to the travel I experience in my job. This is the first time that I have had problems. First I was assigned a room that was occupied, then I was supplied keys to a room that would not open the door. When all of that was finally resolved, I found that the room did not have anything more than a top sheet on the bed. I searched the wardrobe and all the drawers, but no other cover was present. Considering the problems with staff earlier, I chose to just deal with it. Woke up a number of times during the night because I was cold.

Staff(Maureen) was very helpful with reservations. There was no soap available, no blow dryers and no extra blankets (beds only had two sheets on them. I realize a lot of changes because of covid. Would have been nice to know up front so we could have been better prepared.

First room was used and never treated... Second room didn't have a leg on one corner of the bed and when I sat on it, I went launching into the wall. It was actually pretty funny but still, sort of odd that both room s they provided were problematic.

The breakfast was not very good. They need to have a better variety. There was no eggs, no meat, and no hot oatmeal. Also there was a limited amount of fruit.

There was no hot water during our stay. Children running up and down the halls pounding on doors and staff did not bother to address it.

A guest in front of me wanted an e-mail address for the property, but no literature at the front desk had the information. The clerk on duty did not have the information and was not able to contact anyone that might know the e-mail address.

Our room had toenail clippings in the bathroom, had a terribly dirty tv and a quarter roll of t paper. I didn’t realize there wasn’t another in the room until I had to go at 4 am. For what we got, I felt the price of the room should have been around $70 and it was $225. We won’t be back. The front desk gal was very nice though.

For $250, the place should have been immaculate. My bathroom smelled; the carpets throughout the hotel were disgusting. The frame on the bathroom mirror was falling off. The wall mounted hairdryer was stuffed at the top of the closet. The only edible food, with any sort of nutritional value, for the free breakfast was tiny yogurt cups. Will not stay at another Baymont hotel again. For shame charging that amount of money.

Nothing fancy here but it's reasonably priced by Traverse City standards and conveniently located to where I had to be the next day. Overall, a satisfactory experience.

Had to go get washcloths- none were left. Second morning dirty washcloths left in shower. Had to get plastic cups and plastic bag for ice bucket- none left. Toilet handle broke and they did promptly fix that.

Two rooms had alarms going off in the night..and two other rooms smelled like urine in the corner

Good location, right on the main highway. A short drive to downtown. Quick check-in, friendly guest services. One grumpy worker at breakfast, but we let it pass. TV was horrible, we could not adjust the color. Very orange and dark. Whirlpool was comfortable, but pool was not clean enough. Disappointing.

Disappointing breakfast! NO EGGS (only refrigerated boiled eggs), no meat (sausage or bacon). Whoever cleaned our room would forget every day to look if we had toilet paper, tissues etc. We constantly had to go to the lobby and ask for missing items. The workout room had 3 items and one of the machine was taped! DANGEROUS!!! For the amount of money I paid I expected a better hotel!
