Better than I expected.

Everything was excellent and comfort really nice people nice view to the ocean

The junio suit room we stayed in, was very run down nothing compared to what shows in the hotel website.

The property is set on the cliff beaches , which is breathtaking! However, the UNCOVERED septic system is in the back corner & is hiding behind a broken/not in use fountain (there are no working fountains on the property) it stinks often on the property, especially at 2am for some reason There were only TWO decently sized bath towels, ZERO hand towels or washcloths The mattress seemed like it was from 1970, when I think the property was built. Really hard uncomfortable springs. Was supposed to be a “king”. Maybe 50 years ago that was a king sized bed! They also gave us only 2 pillows that were very lumpy. It’s very obvious from the outside dining tables that clearly need a coat of paint, the heavy filthily stained curtains that are for the patio door, the outdated original key & lock hotel door system (no electronic mag system) that this hotel needs a makeover! The property is huge & very pretty (once upon a time), just really old! The pool needs maintenance. The chairs are very old & look moldy. The tiles as the pool designs are falling off. We saw a huge corner of mold in the shower. We ordered room service & placed it outside our door when done. The plates stayed there for almost 48 hours. It appeared maybe a cat (saw a few strays on the property) was picking at the leftovers, in the night. The restaurant for breakfast & lunch, I think Ursulas was the name, we found hair in the food on 2 separate occasions. The pancakes were yum

Stayed on this resort with beautiful oceanview room for a weekend. Super clean, nice place with great personal. Had a combo massage and scrub on the property spa. Great service and price. Definitely will go back.

The pool, and jacuzzi was awesome overlooked the ocean

Nothing, except the staff was great, they helped a lot, but nothing works. I never came back.

Beautiful views, room was nice but very cold and the heater did not work. They did provide an extra blanket that helped. The staff was helpful and friendly. The spa was amazing, staff and service were fantastic.

I have been looking to stay at this property for the past couple years as our friend has stayed there the past 5 years on a regular basis and talked wonders. To start front desk staff was not friendly at all, they did not have the room we booked available sent us to a small out dated room. They offered to switch us room at a additional cost of $188.00 for one night. Second the first room was out dated and old bed was super hard. When we finally paid to get the Penthouse, they gave us wrong keys that would not open or lock the doors, third they were filming a Netflix Selena series at the bar they did not let us in till after filming and kept shushing us. Fourth which is what really was the breaking point, the bartender was rude kept giving us a hard time and when a friend asked what time they closed he said till i take all your money, He also then tried to intimidate me and asked what i did for a living which it does not bother me as i speak the language and spend a lot of time in mexico. We then went to breakfast asked for the Buffet were giving vouchers for a discount and only pay two plates at half off when the bill came they charged us fill price. Did not have time to sit there and argue, food was good and we were in a rush as we had to leave. Side note for management, always have a supervisor on site that can make decision about discounts for accommodations. I should not have to pay an extra almost $200 for your mistake and giving our room away. STAY AWAY

We had no power. The WiFi did not work. They would not compensate our inconveniences. We had to burn our sheets, towels and pillows in the fireplace for heat and light.

Friendly staff, great drinks great food great views

The view was awesome cliff side overlooking the ocean, defenitely going back.

Friendly staff and the welcome margaritas and breakfasts were great bonuses! The view is gorgeous but there’s no heating. Lucky for us we got two beds instead of one and used the blankets from the second unneeded bed. The walls are very thin so you can hear neighbors over the ocean.

Walls are thing if you get a room with floors above you, you’ll be able to hear talking, walking, etc. Nice views and food was bomb!

Fabulous breakfast!! The room I stayed in was newly renovated. The views at the hotel are to die for!!
