Wonderful property! Great place to stay if you plan on going to Sequoia National Park! A very quaint place with an incredible view

The accommodations were okay, and the pool was great!

Just barely two star. AC works well which is a blessing. Pool was very nice. Condition is creaky, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Bedding is old, worn, not comfortable. Pipes make noises. Fridge and microwave ok. Good enough to crash, and soak in the pool after a day of hiking in the summer.

Nice rustic hotel.

When we checked in, the air conditioning had not been turned on. The outside temperature was over 100 degrees, so the hotel should have pre-cooled the room. We turned on the air conditioner but the room would not cool down. Luckily, they weren't fully booked and were able to book us into a different room, which did reach an acceptable temperature after over an hour. The following day, the entire hotel lost power. They blamed the power company; the power company said it wasn't their fault (I was in the lobby and overheard the conversation between the owner and the power company). No backup generator - the guests just sat outside their rooms in the sweltering heat waiting for power to be restored. We didn't wait - we moved down the road to the Comfort Inn which was a much nicer property (for a lot more money) and the room had already been cooled when we arrived. To put a cherry on top, Orbitz emailed us that they couldn't process a refund for the unused nights because they couldn't get in touch with the hotel management. Really? - how many times did you try calling, Orbitz?

Staff was super nice and check in was super easy. We only stayed overnight to visit Sequoia the next day, so all we did was sleep and shower. I did not expect anything extra due to the circumstances of society, so no big deal there. Most definitely a family/noise friendly hotel...playground and bbq area are very cool. Paid $180 for a night in a $75 room. I see a lot of negative reviews, but I'm not sure why.....maybe those are resort folks. Other than the price, it was a decent spot to catch some z's.

Front desk service needs improvement. Staff doesn’t really help and they are rather rude!

The wifi wasn't working during our stay, and the room was very hot despite using the AC.

It’s a good place to stay. They just need to clean the pool and take care of the ants situation.

So everything was actually really good, I would like to just say this is a tourist place and everything closes earlie so I’d say maybe add vending machines

Location is good , clean property . Facilities are worth the price

Great location. No working WiFi in the room. Hotel also charged an on time cancelled stay

Door to room did not close well. Had to push on it hard to make sure it latched. Bathtub/ shower floor had cracks/pieces missing.

perfectly adequate. Reminded me of the motels we stayed in when I was a kid. Rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Great location and the playground/grassy area was perfect to stretch your legs! The room was OK, had reservation for 4, but only 2 towels in the room. One of the keys did not work. The staff was nice, but seems like some of the basics were not covered?

Bedding was dirty and smelly. Interior was so outdated and dirty. Only good thing was the river view.
