We liked it was near the park. We didn't like the rest: The hot water was running in the tab and water running down the wall from the AC unit behind our heads in bed, with electrical cords around. The whole place was not nice in general. It needed a lot of improvements. The staff was nice and accepted giving us a refund for the rest of the nights as we decided not to stay there for the whole time.

It's definitely not a cleanest place

This place was gross and sketchy. The room smelt terrible. I called before hand and asked if we could check in late and they said yes no problem. When I arrived I had no service and nobody was there. I had to drive back until I got service to call and wake somebody up to come check us in. I booked for 2 nights and didn’t even stay 1. I slept in the car one night and then checked out and found a nice hotel. It was not worth it!!!

The heater was very loud. After a while, it would make a very loud noise. It keep waking me up at night. I couldn’t sleep well.

Close to the national park and close enough to the nearby shops.

Very poorly kept facility for the money you pay! Shower is tiny, Kitchenette is not functional space.. cockroaches outside the door. It should be 2 star facility and running at $50/night motel rate. Will not stay here again

It was my fault for booking late (9pm), but the room did not come with soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Hard to believe it was clean if those items were nowhere to be found. Very grumpy customer service. $100 night

BEWARE...Scorpions in rooms. I saw the first scorpion in the bathroom sink. Wasn't happy...but thought it'll be the only one. An hour later I had one crawling on my sheets and jumped out of bed. These were the more venomous Bark Scorpion variety. There are little openings and poor cocking seals throughout the room for bugs to enter. Also, there were lots of roaches in the parking lot running around. Left motel immediately in disgust. Called to complain the next morning and Manager will not issue a refund. Disgusting business...Stay Away!

The room was extremely hot even though we had the AC on at full blast. There were roaches in the room and I’m extremely allergic to them. I asked for a refund and was denied so I had to leave at midnight. The bed had stains that looked like blood. Never staying here again

The property is in need of a remodel. Also, the room we were in did not have a closet. Not much counter space, either.

This hotel was a really cute place to stay at. I read a lot of reviews before, it was 50-50 so I did not really know what to expect. BUT I must say, those people who wrote a lot of bad things, I don't know what they were talking about. From 10 points I would definitely give 11. First of all we arrived late in the night, no problem there was a bell, you call in somebody let you in, check in took maybe 2-3 minutes, perfect. Free parking spots just outside of your room. In the rooms there were heaters, double blanket, your own bathroom, fridge, table, armchair, modern plugins with usb and you had you own terrace, looking over the forest, so I must say it was a really good size room, much bigger than we could wish for. Sure in the bathroom there were some signs of reparations which could have been done much nicer, but it absolutely did not disturb our stay. Next morning, there was a small breakfast prepared in the check in area. Coffee tea oat meal bagels butter jam fruits, just a simple small breakfast, which we thought was really nice (included in the price) The hotel is in a wonderful area, almost at the entrance of Sequoia National park. We would definitely stay here again, and we are going to recommend it for friends visiting this area.

Difficult to heat up wintertime. Noisy heater. Old and dated. But clean and friendly.

Very friendly staff and excellent service! It is very close to the national park.

Room is located right in front of the parking lot.

No frills place with the necessities and very close to Sequoia entrance.

Liked its location near Sequoia National Park. Room for 5 worked out well.
