Had bed bugs. Did not stay

We stayed two nights and our room wasn’t cleaned. We inquired at the front desk. Apparently we had luggage on the bed and staff isn’t allowed to move. Understood! But what does that have to do with trash cans? The lady at the front desk was more than rude. We wanted to leave the second night but couldn’t get our money back. What a way to waste $80!

Initially, the manager "couldn't find" my reservation under my name. He acted like he had no record. Once I got my confirmation number, he found me. The room stunk horribly of mildew. There was a hole in the wall, the carpet looked dirty. The tub and toilet appeared to be on their last leg (falling apart). The tub faucet went around 360 degrees and was difficult to find a good temperature with. The toilet hardly flushed. Water spots on the ceiling accompanied by bugs crawling across it. We could see the outside through the open seal of the door. Luckily, it wasn't too cold out, so we weren't too cold. We were afraid to get in the beds and the TV channels were full of static and the audio was off with the sound going while people were not talking on the picture. Glad to be done with that place and thankful we didn't have bug bites when we left. No one slept due to the conditions.

Room was damp and smelly. Door didn't close all the way and lock barely kept it shut. I moved a desk and table in the way in order to feel secure. Hotel staff was friendly but the hotel was just old and dilapidated.

Our stay was ok, we were in and out of the room only there to sleep.

Was in town for the RAIN ride at SMWC - stayed here for the evening - was adequate but if my expectations or needs were higher - this hotel would not have had a chance. A cheap place for the night - that is all.

The facility was under remodeling so the common breakfast area wasnt very appealing our room was in the back corner of the bldg.it was clean but in need of remodel ceiling in bath was hanging down by the vent. Beds were very comfortable

Was OK the rooms could've been cleaner and in better shape , the remote was broke , didn't have a back on it and the door had a gap where you could see outside therefore the cold air was coming in

When we got to our room, the door did not shut tight, the extra lock had been ripped from door, the room smelled of bug spray! We just left and found another hotel! I would have much rather slept in my car at a rest stop! But since we had young kids with us, it was a safety issue to leave this hotel and find a safer more cleaner hotel!

This hotel was terrible. It is located right off of I-70 which is convenient but that's about all that I can say about the place. The room that they put us in reeked of solvent or cleaner which kept me up. The bedsheets had hairs all over them and they looked like they hadn't been washed. The floor was dirty too. We were just passing through so it was easy to get back into our car and onto the interstate the next morning. I would suggest paying an extra fifteen dollars and going someplace else in Terre Haute. In fact, I would suggest just sleeping in your car. Trust me. It's not worth staying here. It's gross.

First room had strong mold and damp smell. Was raining and corner behind door was leaking water. Second room was a handicap accessible, smell was better. Bathtub was stained and looked dirty. Bought ajax to clean but did not look too much better. Owner had done a poor job of painting tub is my conclusion. Poor lighting in both rooms.

I wanted a non smoking room and was told they were sold out and had to have a smoking room. It was terrible. It was old dingy, smelled, the bedding was worn out. The pillows were hard as rocks. It was not clean either. Will not stay there again.

This was the second time we have stayed here, once going to Missouri and then coming back to Pennsylvania. The room was nice, the bed and pillows exceptional, we always carry our own pillows and didn't have to get them out of the car. The morning hot breakfast was very nice, folded eggs with cheese, bacon, biscuits with sausage gravy, a variety of toast, fresh fruit. A very convenient hotel right near the highway exit but not noisy. A lot of restaurants in the area, some within walking distance.

The hotel was very convenient to the highway and the bed probably was the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. Also can't say enough about the pillows, they were GREAT! We always take our own pillows and this time we didn't have to use them and put them back in the car. They served a very nice hot breakfast, folded eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, raisin toast, and quite a few other offerings, their coffee was very good and provided cups for the road. There were restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. All in all a very nice stay.

Staff went out of its way to fix any problems and to make us comfortable. Property is limited, but quite adequate, considering the low prices. We won't hesitate to return.

In contrast our last hotel stay, the staff at Days Inn were pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. My husband and I felt good about staying there, and will stay there again in the not so distant future. The air freshener in the room was very powerful so we had to remove it and place it outside--this is the only suggestion we have to make our stay more pleasant.

I frequently travel to this area to visit family at the college. This was the perfect spot...tucked away but convenient to EVERYTHING. It was nice and quiet ALL DAY, and offers a great continental breakfast each morning. I lived for my waffles each morning. Great place for the more budget conscience visitors.

Great value for the money. Room clean, quiet, and nice and warm in winter. Breakfast was very nice.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good hotel for the price.
