Its quaintness

The Cordova Inn is right in the middle of Downtown St. Pete, a really great location and walking distance from a ton of bars, restaurants, museums and the new St. Pete Pier. It was extremely easy to check in and check out. There is a $30 daily hotel fee, but I knew that before booking this hotel. It's an old building, so don't expect this to be like staying at the Hilton or something with everything brand-new. I really didn't mind it, though. For the most part everything was very clean, bed was comfortable. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Again, this is an old building, so it is not handicap friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again.

Staff was excellent! Joe, Grant and Bic were so helpful and kind! See you again.

Rated is so well mainly due to location and price. Can’t beat being downtown at that price but there were some major drawbacks: Old- carpet very old and gross Loud- this maybe any place downtown but windows had very little noise cancelling Ants- sugar ants in room Small bathroom- newer but very small Poor lighting Coffee not free Parking not free They forgot to give us new towels but they did have someone come after hours Half of the hotel has a view of a section 8 apartment like feet from the window. Other half has a nicer view. Overall we had a great stay and loved being able to walk everywhere in st Pete. I did not stay with my kids nor think this place was very kid friendly unless you only plan to sleep there but there are no tubs. Great place if you just need a landing spot to go explore all st Pete has to offer at a good price but make sure you are comfortable with the drawbacks.

I hate to be this person but, I really do t have anything good to say about this place. There were paper thin walls, I could hear our neighbors plain as day. The bathroom had ants. There was no staff when we arrived, they left at 6pm. No coffee in the room and, matter of fact, one of the coffee pods that I guess you’re supposed to take downstairs?? Had a hole in it. The window unit AC was SO loud I left the room to go and get earplugs. The room did not seem sanitized. There’s no elevator, it is only 3 stories though so that wasn’t that bad. But with all of our bags it wasn’t great. The floor was uneven and weird with dents in it. Omg, and the bathroom was so small, I had to suck it in just to get into the shower!! I mean like a box with a toilet and shower. It was just not a great experience at all to be honest. Won’t be staying there again.

I wish Parking was part of the deal. Great location . Very clean. We had a good time

Nice decor, excellent location. Room was comfortable but bedsheets had a few obvious stains.

The location is good and that’s about it. In need of a complete renovation. Would not recommend.

A classic old hotel in the middle of town. A great find.

While it is a cute property, in an excellent location, with very friendly staff, the carpet in the room needs to be replaced immediately. I needed to iron a shirt, and there was no iron. The table in the breakfast area is unusable, forcing everyone to go outside.

Charm and character is all there. Would appreciate better lighting near the mirror for getting ready and maybe an ironing board in the closet. Otherwise clean, super comfortable bed, etc.

Smaller room than expected. Location was great and the staff was pleasant.

The location was amazing. It was an older building but clean and the rooms were spacious. The staff were all very friendly.

A lot of charm but could use a little updating. Staff pleasant.

The hotel is quaint and boutique like. It’s in a perfect location for all things DTSP. The age of the hotel outweighed the positives though. Our room lacked some modern amenities that are just a must. The windows were frosted so there was zero insight to the outside world. I would pay the extra for a more modern structure

When staying at a hotel built in 1921, there will be some things that are not 100%, but the bathroom had black ants on the floor and sink and the shower curtain was not secure and fell on my daughter. These are things that can be fixed and hopefully they will be. The staff was wonderful and engaging. St. Petersburg needs to do something about the area and the drug problem. At night, there are people sleeping along the sidewalks and in the bushes at the nearby establishments. This is not ok and these people need help. I cannot recommend the hotel for this reason.

It was a cute little hotel that has the most convenient location. What it lacked in luxury, it more than made up for in charm.

Thanks for the great rating! We continue to renovate while staying within the Historical Landmark guidelines. We've just been green lighted to replace the flooring (goodbye old carpets!) and replace the window AC units with wall splits. I hope you visit again after some updates - contact me personally and I'll get you a room with an original clawfoot bathtub.
