Not worth the price we paid

We booked two rooms for a one night stay cation. After a beautiful day on the golf course we came back to our rooms to shower and head out only to find that our rooms had NO HAND SOAP or Shower soap of any kind, only small bottle of Shampoo. This in the middle of a Pandemic we had no way to wash our hands and bodies, imagine that, I guess Holiday Inn does not care about Covid safety. We went to the front desk thinking it just must have been a mistake by housekeeping only to have the clerk bring us another bottle of shampoo and to inform us that they were out of soap and that is all they had. In the middle of a pandemic Holiday Inn was out of soap!!!!! I asked the clerk to get a manager involved so we could actually shower and was our hands. She called a manger and was told to just adjust our room rate as the manager lives over an hour away. I said that was not acceptable especially during the Covid crisis. The clerk told us there was a CVS 2 blocks away and we could get soap there. SO, we had to drive to CVS and buy our own soap to stay at Holiday Inn during a pandemic. IMAGINE THAT! Then the next morning in one of the rooms there were ants crawling all over the bathroom sink,,, ANTS in room that supposedly was sanitized by housekeeping. How can you have a sanitized room with ants crawling all over the bathroom sink!!! Overall a terrible experience and one that ensures I will never stay at a Holiday Inn ever again........

Very clean and staff was friendly! Close to downtown 15 min walk, enjoyed it

The room and the bathroom were both very clean. The AC was very cold. The only negative I had was 8-10 of the TV channels said weak or scrambled signal and didn't come in. The check in and out were both very easy.

Our reservation was based on a King bed. The host at the front desk said that “Expedia” (not Orbitz). Holds the room but HI doesn’t guarantee which room...we were given a double room...The room carpet needed odor treatment, the coffee maker did not work, I spoke to the front desk 3 times before actually taking the item to the front desk. We had to tape the night stand top drawer closed.

Really great location for the price for me. St. Augustine is a walk-able town and in order to really see it and feel it you need to walk it. This hotel was not downtown, but close enough to walk to and from.

The employee from the front desk gave some us attitude when we checked in. Unprofessional! But the place was ok but severely overpriced with a side of bad customer service. Not staying here again.

Worms in the room. Broken shower. Uncaring manager.

Centrally located with shuttles to historic district- great room with comfy pillows! Clean and spacious hotel!

baths dirty, sofa bed stinks and very bad matress there

Plenty of room for everyone, very nice and clean. The lobby was very pleasant with all the Christmas decorations which made it look wonderful for my children. They served hot coco and water infused with orange sliced as well. Over all happy with it.

Good day Anonymous, I want to thank you for your feedback on your recent stay. I am the GM of the hotel, I was off when this occur and I am totally embarrassed that it happened without me being made aware of it. I was not the manager that was called however my team should have reacted much differently. I have taken this concern to our team so that I can use this to retrain them on better ways to make this work. We should have gone out and purchase the soap that was needed regardless if our order did not come in and for that I deeply apologize. As mentioned Covid crisis is very real and we should have done better. I am sorry for your recent stay. If you would please contact me at the hotel I would like to talk to you further about your stay. Thank you
