The location is great - easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants and 1.2 miles to Zion Park entrance - walkable. The construction across the parking lot makes the scene unpleasant and the trash collector is so close and you can smell it when you park or open your room door.

It’s Convenient. The room was nice. I booked the big room with the kitchen. So we cooked our food.

Close to everything

Our room was clean with the exception of the bathroom. There was still a used wash rag hanging on the shower rack. They cleaned the next day and it was still there after. Overall clean and well kept hotel just old and little attention to detail. The blow dryer rack was hanging by a thread, main mirror cracked, freezer frozen over....etc

Nice area, albeit expensive due to the tourist trap nature of it. The hotel itself is not great. The week before we arrived half of it had apparently burned down. we were staying at an adjacent building that had a broken unusable staircase in front of it. The on site laundry was broken apparently so we were told that we could use the laundromat across the street. In the room there was damage all over the place. A bunch of holes in the dry wall from the door hitting it and a missing door from the closet/tv stand contraption. The ice machine was empty, and had a layer of mold in the bottom, but who needs ice in the desert right? The water pressure in the sink was entirely too high. It sprayed out at a high pressure every time the valve was turned on. Additionally, our toilet wouldn't flush, and when i told front desk that the toilet was broken they offered me a plunger. I said “no it needs to be fixed” and went out for the day with a statement from front desk that she would send someone up there. When i came back it hadnt been done so i got a plunger from a housekeeper. We had to use the plunger every time that we flushed the toilet for the duration of our stay. There are much nicer hotels in the area that are similar in price and even closer to zion. I would not book here again.

Location was great. Other lodgings were very expensive so this was a decent value despite the property being a bit run down. Staff very nice.

I had been charged by Orbitz March 15 and PL claimed I still owed them and charged Me again on my AX

The location of the the hotel & the staff are it’s greatest assets. The condition of the room we stayed in did not warrant the high rate, but it is definitely central to everything. We were able to walk to most restaurants and the laundromat was right across the street, so that was perfect. We stayed here because it was the only dog-friendly hotel available during the dates we were traveling. The rooms were clean and cute, but definitely on the smaller side, although the beds were large & comfy. We would stay here again.

The floor of the room wasn’t properly cleaned. I think there was some dog kibble (pet friendly) on the floor. At least I hope that what it was. There was a used bar of soap under the chair on the floor. The decorative foot bed cover had some stain- can only guess. After driving 12 hours through snow storm I didn’t have the energy to deal with it. Won’t stay there again. The bed was comfortable but beyond that- needs serious attention

Rustic decor was pleasant. Tight parking spaces were hard to navigate.

This lodge is right in the middle of everything. Perfect distance to the park itself and

Not a bad place. Def not worth the 185 a night. Parking spaces can’t even fit a small car and you can hear everything going on in other rooms and outside

We liked the style of the hotel and the proximity to Zion. We were a little disappointed that the pool wasn’t open but with everything going on we understood.

The rooms were fairly dingy. The light switches in the bathroom area were very touchy and did not seem to be wired properly (didn't turn on when touched, sometimes didn't stay on). The microwave stand trim was visibly coming off in places. The hot tub, pool, and ice maker were all broken throughout our stay. We were there for the Zion Half Marathon and this was EXTREMELY disappointing.

Security lock was broken, window shades were broken, stained bed linens, advertised hot tube and pool were unavailable, breakfast served very late

Friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect location, the breakfast could have been better; juice dispenser was very watered down and there were no caffeinated beverages. It wasn't our first time staying, and it won't be our last!

Thank you so much for your review and your feedback, we truly appreciate it. Upon arrival Orbitz was contacted, with you in the lobby, Orbitz confirmed the reservation was not prepaid and that we were to collect payment upon check in. We did ask Orbitz to reach out to you to help figure out what that charge is for, as the charge on March 15 came from Orbits not from Pioneer Lodge. We are more than happy to provide a refund if we can get confirmation from Orbitz that the reservation was prepaid, but as of now Orbitz is confirming that payment was to be charged upon check in. We do hope to have you with us again
