For a Hampton Inn felt property condition was average. Due to Covid restriction breakfast was a pre-order bag for pickup. Location is marginal.

Interisting/good Location, nice lounge, inviting lobby/lounge Non nosy desk staff Let me add this hotel is in a dumpy downscale major shopping stripmall destination w a lower class clientele Also, the area is quite ugly w mixed industrial as well Surprised too find such a classy space Certainly they have not downgraded the experience, although located in a thoroughly blue collar non-gentrifying long established retail hub. Felt like a tiny oasis.. Slightly tucked away..wouldnt be surprised if business travelers were a bit shocked at the surrounding grittiness, its (un missable) bc the hotel is highly rated and right off major highways:) Well done as usual Hilton properties!

Very thing was excellent. There's nothing not to like

Clean, welcoming , comfortable, great lobby, the complimentary coffee was great as well. along with a cute little pool.

Rooms nicely decorated. Very quiet. No more to add.

Staff is nice. Mattress was covered in stains. Breakfast is so so. Heater in room is extremely loud. Walls are thin. Our room was near highway and I constantly heard traffic. Close to many stores and restaurants. No one was available at night to fix a clogged toilet, so I had to switch rooms.

Pleasant staff, clean and quiet room. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room temperature was good and adjustable.

Booked this for family visiting from out of town. It was a decent experience.

We came for a college football game and spent two nights. The hotel looked clean and smelled good. The breakfast area was clean. There wasn't much variety. The waffle maker seemed to be a hit, but I'm not supposed to eat much in the way of carbohydrates, but the only choices were scrambled eggs (watery and barely warm) and turkey sausage. I despise turkey sausage. We asked about any shuttle or taxi services aligned to the hotel and got a blank look. On the second morning, we were going to eat breakfast before checking out. When we got on the elevator, the door closed and nothing worked. Only after we called for help did the door open. At this point we used the stairs. When we told the desk clerk, there was barely an acknowledgement. For the price - pretty good. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. They didn't have the Big Ten network on the TV, which we hoped for.

Our family celebrated an 80th birthday celebration close by to this Hampton Inn. The Hotel was exceptionally clean, close to all highways, close to plenty of restaurants, shopping etc. The staff was very efficient and very helpful! Excellent value!!

The hotel stay was as expected. Service and location were good.

Really clean and neat. Fresh cookies and coffee at checkin. If there was an option of a foam pillow it would have been perfect

Always stay at the hampton inn when we visit friends and family in nj. Great hotel, great staff. Love the breakfast buffet.

Friendly & helpful front desk staff, good housekeeping, great pool & gym, snack bags provided with early checkout since breakfast was not ready, fresh popcorn for snacking, pool towels provided, etc. An EXCELLENT stay -- highly recommended. Near shopping mall.

Felt like extending our stay..everything is excellent!!

The hotel was pretty nice and comfy. I like the staff and it was clean and really quiet.

The staffs are very helpful. The room is a little small, but nice and clean, smell really good by the way. We had a good time at the hotel and definitely recommend it to everybody.

Adam was the quentesential manager. He was the best in customer interest and service to our needs. If we are in the area we will stay there again. the continental breakfast had more variety than expected also.

I grew up in this vicinity and have preconceived notions about where the good hotels are located. The rates for my typical hotels were uncustomarily "through the roof" so I checked Orbitz and decided to give the Hampton Inn in South Plainfield a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Very, nicely furnished, a pool, a gym, wireless access. I have found a new place when I am in this area.
