Great option for families to enjoy for swimming during the winter. Sadly our room did not have a functioning faucet in the bathroom, no restaurants or spa were open in the hotel, and the waterpark consistently did not have towels. All food had to be purchased offsite or buy deep fried items from the Waterpark snack bar. Make sure to ask if the hotel is at capacity if you are concerned about COVID as precautions were nonexistent in the waterpark and we could not switch rooms.

I would like to see recycling at this hotel, less waste as s’mores all come in individual small plastic bags, get rid of plastic garbage bags that are unnecessary in the rooms!

The staff in all areas were very pleasant and helpful. It was upsetting that towels were not available at the pool. We saw families taking 5 to 10 towels per family and then we saw individuals taking towels and throwing them over many of the reclining chairs to save them but did not return to the chairs for several hours. They really needed a staff member to hand out towels based on those cards we were given. We did enjoy the pool side bar but felt the two bartenders were overwhelmed trying to keep up. They did their best and were very friendly despite it being so busy.

The staff were very friendly and brought our bags to our room. The hotel was wonderful and the bed amazing. My kids loved the water park and had a blast.

The service was outstanding in every aspect. Our son received an upgrade because his room had a water leak, The upgrade was to one of the Presidential Suites

Stunning vintage architecture, plenty of waterside activities, nice dining. No beach. Great for weddings, reunions. Room was sparse with poor lighting - eco annoying?- small tight bathroom, view of parking lot from unusable balcony. Air conditioning control was “remote” meaning not adjustable in room. If the rooms were better appointed this would be a 5 Star hotel, without question; as beautiful a setting as anything CapeCod, Martha’s Vineyard have to offer.

It was the first time we've ever stayed here. My son and I had a very enjoyable stay and cannot wait to go back! Loved the waterpark, arcade, and mini golf. Restaurants were great too!!

This hotel is in need of a serious renovation! Everything is outdated and beat up! The furniture, fixtures, carpet and paint are frayed, shredded, chipping and outdated. The food is awful but fortunately there are several restaurants within walking distance that are great! I paid $500/night for a 2 star hotel in my opinion. I will say the hotel and water park staff was all very friendly!

The resort is beautiful, with amazing views of Lake Michigan. There is a fun waterpark for younger children, which is also fun for parents. There is also a beach and outdoor pool, which add to the experience of the resort. The room was decent and served its purpose for sleeping and relaxation. Unfortunately the pull out couch was separated by a wall, which was "scary" for our young children. Still, no complaints about the room. The one thing that was disappointing, was the staff. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. They took the time to greet our family and explain the ins and outs of the resort. They did not seem hurried despite the long line of people checking in, which was appreciated. The housekeeping staff were also friendly, as they smiled and greeted our family when we walked by. The rest of the staff at the resort were not helpful, and sometimes rude. We ate at the restaurant the first evening and stood there for an extended period of time while several staff walked by us. Not one of them asked if we needed help. We finally asked and were seated and received service. Then the restaurant was out of two things on the menu. We ate at the breakfast buffet the next morning, which was over-priced in our opinion. Needless to say, we didn't eat on site the remainder of the trip. In addition to the restaurant staff being unhelpful, the lifeguards were irritable. And the staff at the Kids Harbor stared at us, without giving us any guidance.

It was fun but wish there was smaller water slide for 2 year olds

We normally do have a pool staff member who oversees towels during waterpark hours. I will absolutely look into what happened in this instance so it does not happen again.
