The room did not smell very clean. Also I waited 30 minutes for my room to be ready. Common areas are dingy. More like 1.5 star

It was hard to sleep because the room was 78-82 degrees all the time. There was no air conditioning or fan of any kind, and even at night if and when it cooled off outside, the small windows were blocked so that they could only be opened about three inches. There was no mini-fridge or microwave in the room, and the only ice machine I could find was on the first floor and I was on the seventh and the main elevators were out of service my entire stay. That said, I did like the property and location, and would stay there again, but not during a heat wave!

I am pretty sure we heard a mouse behind the bed chewing something in the middle of the night

Needing a key to gwt in was nice. Self service laundry was at the building accross the street.

Historic hotel building at a nice central location.

Old charm...beautiful room and quiet. A little awkward using the service elevator.

Fantastic location, the staff were kind and helpful, the room has vintage charm. However, the beds are deeply uncomfortable, and the room itself is too warm, I believe my thermostat was broken. Great restaurant in the hotel. Parking is 20 bucks which is less great. There's a free printing center in the sister hotel across the street which is nice. It's a fine place to stay if you need to go to VM in the morning.

Was looking for a place to stay outside of the beaten path and offering a good value for the money. This just did the trick. Less than 10 min walk away from the Washington Convention center, location was perfect. While certainly not modern, it has an old European charm to it. Stayed there for breakfast twice - good comfort food to start the day. Service was exceptional and room as clean as it gets.

Old building but nice accommodations. Location is fantastic and walking distance to the water. Perfect for patients at the hospital. Restaurant has really good food!

Low key, perfect location, very comefortable. Polite and accomadating staff

It was a little dated and not as clean as I would like it.

Cute from the outside and very friendly staff!!!!!

The Inn at Virginia Mason was absolutely perfect for the price. It was conveniently located, comfortable but affordable, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were all kind, patient, helpful, and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
