Ok

The building is lovely. But the rooms have a noticable "old building smell" which doesn't really bother me, but may bother some others. The inside of the room is nice, but the furniture is kind of shabby. The couch in our corner king suite looked like it was from Target and wouldnt last long. The table and chairs were beat up. The moulding around the room was dirty and beat up. The paint job was a bit sloppy. It seems like they wanted to have a luxurious, trendy hotel but slightly missed the mark because of the shoddy workmanship. The bathroom has no fan at all, so it gets very steamy and when I cracked the window, the outside was dirty and pigeon feathers blew in all over the floor.

Vintage feel !!

Service was a little slow. I think they are just getting up and running after the pandemic.

This gorgeous old world hotel felt completely comfortable and I didn’t want to leave at all.

As an older property it had a great amount of character.

Love the Cham of this beautiful old Hotel! The staff at the front desk and in the bar were wonderful. Close to the freeway and all downtown amenities.

We liked everything about this hotel except for lack of parking and the road noise was very loud

The hotel was very nice and staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

Nice free wine tasting. Wonderful hostess. Great jazz bar one block walk from property.

Inexpensive upgrade to a suite. Friendly staff. Easy parking.

Would love a more casual dining options. There is nothing wrong with a refined menu, but a basic option would have great appeal with some of your travelers. Even if its just bar fare.

Amazing classic elegance. Our room at the Sorrento was tailored, tasteful and spacious. View of the City, huge windows, marble bathroom...wow! Dinner at Dunbar Room (used to be called the Hunt Club) was perfectly cooked w beautiful presentation. Walking distance to the Paramount where Dance Theater of Harlem did an amazing show.
