Property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom / shower gave the feel of a hostel or dorm. I was in town for 4 nights attending a seminar as I am in the area about twice per year and I won't be back. You can hear everything in adjoining rooms and the gentleman next to mine yelled, cussed and screamed constantly. Usually at the tv, traffic outside, or just to himself. One night he turned up his tv full volume for a classic country infomercial and screamed the whole time. Another night he left the tv on full volume with baseball highlights...another night he just cussed and yelled. It seemed that he had been staying there for a while and there was no way management was not aware of his behavior...it seemed to be ignored. I am pretty tolerant and don't have much for expectations but I won't risk a stay like this again.

Comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, helpful staff. Because of the unique way the building has been re-purposed, some things take some getting used to: e.g, no closet in the room, no seat in the shower room.

Comfortable room. Reception staff was excellent! You need to walk down the hall for the restroom, but that is a quaint, old school thing. Coffee and tea right outside our room the next morning. Love my stay here!

It's very cozy and comfy. We loved the robes, the coffee in the morning and the general feel of the place.

Did not stay. Would not stay. This hotel looks like it was left over from the days when fishermen would need a rest. The halls are narrow. Most rooms don't even have bathrooms. The rooms are tiny. No air conditioning. I looked at the room and it was obvious that there was no way was I going to stay there.

Very nice, I would recommend to friends. I wish I would have had more time to stay in Seattle.

Very comfortable. Awesome location in a hip neighborhood.

This little inn on the main Street in Ballard gives walkable access to dozens of great restaurants, bars, and shops. I really appreciated the complimentary pass to the 24 hour OAC gym across the street where I could get in a workout and relax in the jacuzzi and steam room. What a treat! The staff was very helpful and friendly and available. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed at the room not providing private bathroom. The room was in old condition and had bad odor.

Very accommodating staff and great location. Ballard is awesome!

We didn't realize we booked such an "historic" and small hostile-type, shared bathroom, non-air conditioned place. The building and upkeep was lovely, but having no a/c and having space for a bed and a table was difficult.

This was a great choice for my trip. I spent most of my time outside so this hotel served my purpose of a place to rest in between outings. I really liked this hotel and would stay again. Sharing a bathroom and shower did not bother me at all. It was clean.

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Ballard Inn. I am so sorry to read that you did not enjoy your stay. Not having a private bathroom can be a surprise if your weren't expecting it so we do make sure that our online listings have the proper information. We do explicitly state whether a room has a private or shared bathroom. In the future, please always feel comfortable coming to the Front Desk and our staff will do all that they can to remedy any issues at hand.
