The property could definitely use some maintenance / upkeep -- while overall it looks nice, and appears to be clean, it's definitely showing wear that could probably easily be taken care of -- the elevator walls had interior damage, the window sills in the room were paint-chipped and dinged up, there's enough cosmetic wear that it's obvious but not entirely off-putting. What was more concerning was the food service conditions. My husband said the drinks tasted a little funny (water lines need cleaning, maybe?) and the bottle of cider I got from the well had mold on the outside bottom of the glass. Also, in the steakhouse the sushi chefs had stacks of sushi rolls just sitting out for the entire time we were dining -- they really should have been kept either cold or on a warmer, not sitting out for an hour waiting for someone to order them.

Our room was clean and comfortable, we were placed on the ground floor and surrounded by all rooms with dogs!! I am open to hotels allowing pets but those without pets should not be on the same floor!!! Noisy from dogs barking all nights, noisy from club customers on Sat night.

Advertised free continental breakfast - there is no breakfast. When I asked about the breakfast I was curtly told that “ you can eat at a few places down the street if you want breakfast”. Peeling wallpaper. Sink cracked. You open the door and walk into a wall. M&M’s on floor from previous guest - wonder if it was cleaned.

Due to COVID all the amenities were not available. The desk clerk was friendly and she even upgraded the room because of the amenities were not available. The hotel is showing its age but the grounds are beautiful.

Property had $1.50 drinks for an hour on the weekdays we were there. Great location literally 1 mile from Mohegan sun casino and 3 miles from seven tubs nature center. It was only bout 10 miles from misericordia univ where I dropped my son off at school. Plenty of places to eat around there. Plus the hotel has a few restaurants!

Been coming here for yrs...Needs updating..Dirty run down..Jacuzzie was clean yrs ago.Ukkk now couldnt waint to take a shower back in my room..Wont be returning.

Hotel and restaurant staff were great.Location and water falls setting was terrific.

Was hoping for more, but not bad for the price. Everything seemed a little dated. Room had an old smoke smell and thin walls.

I was a little disappointed with the place no handicap accessible. It was all steps everywhere my husband uses a walker and sometimes a chair had a difficult time getting to breakfast. The bathroom was slippery we had to go to Walmart and buy mats, there was no barsinvthe bathroom to hold onto. The place other wise was ok the staff was friendly and helpful but not the place for people with disabilities.

This small resort like hotel was just what my wife and needed. We were very pleased with everything and everyone. The free shuttle to the casino was a plus. The Hibachi restaurant had the best Crab meat roll. Our weekend getaway was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night. Unfortunately, we were located quite a distance from the restaurants and had to climb numerous steps, which made it difficult for my husband who uses a Rolator. The accommodations for handy-cap people are poor!

Old hotel with perfectly angled pictures on website not quite reflecting what u will get. Seems like a good place to just lay your head if u plan to enjoy the nearby bars and clubs not the greatest for that "nice" hotel ambience we were hoping for.

The staff was excellent, but the room was not up to the standard you get at a nice hotel like the woodlands. Wall paper was coming off the wall, the ac didn't work after the first 2 hours and the shower was no water pressure and the hot water took forever to come out.

I found the hotel very relaxing and enjoyable. Many of the rooms look out onto a landscaped wooded area. Since the hotel is, unfortunately, smoke free, you can sit outside on the deck or patio in chairs they provide for your morning coffee and cigarette. It's shaded and very relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. I mistakenly thought my room came with a refrigerator. When I asked, the staff had one brought in the next day.

Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly and helped me with directions a couple times. My only issue was the staff could not replace the soap or shampoo in the room. It contained mango which I am allergic to. They mentioned I was the second person who asked about that. They should keep an alternative in stock. Otherwise, it was very nice and I would definitely stay there again.

Dear Guest, I am so sorry your experience was not 100% satisfactory. Dog friendly rooms are located in one area of the hotel, however, guests do tend to sneak in pets in other locations. I hope it will not deter you from a return trip in the future. Thank you, Ross Kornfeld
