A hidden gem near everything. Excellent service and very clean

Excellent hotel. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Staff was very professional and polite - very accomodating.

The property was beautiful. We found the floors were filthy. Our feet were very dirty from walking around. Also if you provide an in room coffee maker you need to provide supplies to go with it. Should offer complimentary coffee for guests.

We loved our stay very unique updated hotel loved the pool and the views conveniently walk to anywhere within historic district friendly staff already booked again for December !

Amazing hotel and location

I completely understand that many businesses are short staffed and things might be a little more challenging. This was on a different level. Staff was very rude and unaccommodating. I respect the no housekeeping rule but rooms should be scrubbed between guests. Mine was dirty. When the towel hook fell off the wall, maintenance did come to fix it quickly. He stepped with dirty work boots and left the floor filthy, drilled a new hole in the wall leaving the other one visible (not a huge deal but strange) and then left a screw on the floor. The one housekeeper I interacted with was lovely and polite and helpful. Folks working at the little coffee shop were helpful and kind. Front desk staff was abysmal. Again, my expectations were low given the state of the world but still, very disappointed. I had stayed here before and had a good experience. When I pointed out that service wasn’t great, the response I got was “sorry to hear that” in a very blasé voice.

It was a great location, an historic hotel and we did enjoy having a pool but that is about it. Poor service, dirty rooms. No soap in shower, loud noises all night, inattentive staff. Check in was a joke.

THE HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND IS CLEAN WITH A BEAUTIFUL POOL. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND IT IS KID FRIENDLY.

Great stay. Clean room

Nightmare! We were disappointed on so many fronts. First, we made a refundable reservation at the property but had to make a slight change (cancelling the last day of a 4 night trip) 2 days later. However, when shortening the trip, the hotel upped the nightly amount by a large amount, and the reservation was somehow changed to nonrefundable, so that we cannot cancel and rebook (which would be a lot cheaper) or find alternative options. This change was made without our acknowledgement and when we found out about the new price and unrefundable status the change was already made and irreversible. We felt very deceived and felt this is not the right treatment of clients... the customer service is horrible. When we got there, the property is in a rundown condition with mold everywhere in the shower. There's a smell in the room and we booked a nonsmoking room. You can hear people running or speaking. Additionally, due to COVID there's no room service; instead you call for new towels. However, when we tried to call on day 3 for an hour through many tries, no one picked up, and we had to reuse old towels that were thrown on the floor! On the last night of stay at 1am, the fire alarm rang, and the entire building had to evacuated from the stairs (which was gross). The security told us it was a prank by teenagers on the 13th floor.... and they werent apologetic at all. All guests looked very mad. When we went back and settled back to sleep, the alarm rang again...

We had no conditioner or wash towels - when we called they said they'd bring it and didn't so we called again 6 hours later. The vents were visibly dirty, there was a ceiling leak going onto the floor and overall I felt that it was a pricey hotel w very little to offer. Very basic and no great amenities. The pool wasn't able to be used the first day of our trip as they were filling it. The pics are not really what the hotel looks like. Needs updating - and the restaurant was sub par. The nice restaurant was closed and the coffee shop was only open until the afternoon so it was tough to rely on getting anything there. Would not recommend

The pool area was lovely best on weekends!

My daughter and I had a double bed room with a balcony overlooking the poolside and the city. It was a spacious room and was clean. The staff was friendly and we were able to get a mini fridge upon request. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go except to tybee island. The description on their website said they had a trolley available to pick you up and take you there but that was not available anymore so we decided to not go. You do have to pay extra for parking after you arrive at the hotel. I think for the price that you pay for a room that parking should be included. Also the air conditioner was supposedly set on 64 but never went lower than 70 and we were hot at night while trying to sleep. They came and checked it out and said it was working fine. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay and we would consider staying here again.

Great location. Clean property.

The only issue was their internet for guests was not working. By the time we left it was back up otherwise staff and facilities were very nice.

Excellent location, comfortable bed, beautiful view from the skyline balcony room. No in-room coffee maker. I’m not sure if that’s listed, but it’s pretty standard in many places now so I was mildly disappointed to find there wasn’t one here. On the other hand, there’s a coffee shop in the lobby and several within a block or two. We had a great stay and would certainly stay again!

Views were beautiful, and staff were very courteous. Best feature was the location, and the dining options within the hotel.

Liked location. Did not like pool and bar closed by 9:00 despite many people on the rooftop.

Great stay and location. Easy walk to everything. Clean and quiet.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
