The property was just average. The dock overhang needed painting, and some boards replaced. The mosquito netting by the hot tub was torn and missing in areas, so it needed replaced as well. Just rather shabby.

The private hot tubs was a really nice feature and the main reason I booked here. I didn't realize these efficiencies don't come with daily cleaning service. They supplied plenty of towels and we could have gotten more if needed. Our room, Sea Shell has a room over it. So, although it is the closest one to the water, anyone walking with heels on upstairs wakes you at midnight. Click, click click. Ugh. The pool on the adult only side is not heated. The place was very quiet and only once did I see a couple by the pool. I like the quieter end of Siesta key where this resort is. Easy to hop the trolley from here. Quick walk to the beach and a couple restaurants. The owner is very friendly and helpful if you have a specific need. All rooms come with wine opener and blender!

I loved that the property is quant, quiet and peaceful! The old Florida feel with beautiful natural landscaping adds so much and is one of the best aspects. The quiet private road is amazing and the beauty of the bay helps you find yourself. Tranquillity at its best!

The private hot tub was amazing! We loved the privacy and uniqueness of our room. The personnel were excellent also. However, the parking sucked!! There are not enough spots for guests to park.

I liked that they had an adults only side. I also liked that it was much more private than a hotel. It was very a very close walk to the beach. However, the nice pictures they show on their website are the cottages for the families, not the adults. We did not have a full sized refrigerator and the freezer compartment would not freeze. We had a compact countertop two-burner stove. and a toaster over to cook with. (We also had a microwave.) The cottages and surrounding area is in great need of repairs. We were told they wait until after hurricane season to do repairs. The cost was well worth the stay! I would go back again.

Let me just start by saying this place is AMAZING!!!!! First time to siesta key and they made it one to remember, all the amenities they offer and the nicest staff make for an enjoyable experience. Will return in the future.

This is my favorite resort. The private personal hot tub is wonderful. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the complimentary access to kayaks, bikes, and fishing gear is great. Walking distance to restaurants and bicycle riding distance to siesta key beach.

Private hot tub on a private porch, oversized king bed, and lots of things to do in the area!

Cannot say enough good things about this place, really wanted to stay longer. Perfect romantic get away !

After seeing the place we decided not to stay. The place is literally falling apart. Actually seen a rat crawling up into the walls.

Ok I have to confess the previous reviews scared me. I knew about this place when I used to live in the area and always wanted to stay here. It did not disappoint The rooms/cottages are quaint and so peaceful. Spent very little time inside because paradise awaits outside the room. The private hot tub on the patio was a special treat. I could make it hot the way I liked it and oh so loved the jets. I was completely spoiled The outside area is breathtaking. Lots of comfy places to sit and just soak up the peaceful water scene. Took one of the kayaks out and had a blast being on the water. Loved hanging out with all the birds and hearing them sing. Overall this was the most relaxing and peaceful few days of vacation. Cured everything I am sure. Can’t wait to go back one day

Very disappointed in the condition of the room and overall facility. Needs updating and caretaking inside and outside. Not worth the money.

Stayed there for my wife's birthday. Location was great but to be honest, in comparison to other places we have stayed before, I thought what we paid was too much. Location is great, the place was quaint and rustic.

Thank you for your reply, and for letting us know where we can be better. We just replaced the mosquito netting in the Siesta Cottage today and the dock is in good shape as well. Perhaps you're referring to our "bird dock" where only the pelicans hang out! Have a wonderful day x

Thank you so much for your kind words! Parking can be a challenge when the hotel is full as we are in a residential area. On your next visit, please let us know if you have difficulty finding parking because we have three properties close-by that may provide extra space.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate it! We are currently doing renovations and repairs it being Sept now , we hope the likes of Dorian are behind us. The INN /adult side only has kitchenettes and the freezer issue has been rectified. If you want a full size kitchen, our Resort/Bay-side property offers studios, one and two bedroom cottages with full size kitchens. Hope to see you again!
