A beautiful cozy apartment in a great location.

Cottage was smaller than I expected. Only one sitting area. Patio was not clean when we arrived. No see ums made porch unusable. The management was responsive and the overall cleanliness was excellent.

Check in is terrible, no soap, no heat, no maid service, tight parking

This is the FIRST motel/hotel property I have ever stayed in (and there have been many) that did not have an ice machine. I had to drive 10 miles at midnight to get ice. Very strange..no ice.

Bang for your buck in terms of the physical space. Parking lot is small and fills up quick, but owner was quick to respond when asked where extra parking was. Amenities only included shampoo and bar soap, but plenty of beach towels to use as well as beach supplies. Location was decent, about 2 blocks to the beach.

Rooms were kinda confusing to find but I just called and lady walked me through til I got inside. Felt more secluded than other places near by. Loved the private patio.

Even when I turned the AC off in my unit, it was still too cold.

Location was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Very pleased.

We loved the location which was very close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room was fairly clean, there was a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but no coffee available. Luckily, there were a few places to buy fresh brewed coffee in St. Armand's Circle. The bathroom didn't have any complimentary shampoo/conditioner so be sure to bring your own. The cable TV never worked and the ceiling fan's chain broke so we couldn't turn it back on after trying to change the speed. Having the fan on helped so we didn't have to blast the air conditioner. Lastly, the "real icing on the cake" was when we came back from dinner at night and turned on the lights...several roaches went scattering about on the floor. Thank goodness that none of our bags had been on the floor for the last two nights! That was the last straw and our last night staying there.

A/C didn’t work the first night. They said he would send someone out. Never saw anyone. I texted him a couple more times with no response, then my response was he himself would control it and it should cool down soon. About 11pm it was cool enough to sleep. Next day I left till about 5pm came back to room and AC did not work again.. I texted the number again because there isn’t a front desk or anyone here after 3pm. No response but the AC started again. He obviously controls when the AC goes on. Then at 1:15 am I wake up sweating. Yup!! My AC DIDNT work again. He could of controlled the temp, not sure. 72-75 degrees is way to warm to sleep. I texted again but not response. There are no clean towels to get, There are no clean sheets to get after 3pm. I wasn’t here between 9-3, so I didn’t get clean linens. Closet and bathroom floor were dirty. I was so excited to stay here, but it was a horrible stay. I paid over $249.00 for 2 nights. If you would like service, AC and clean linens don’t stay here.

The hotel was nice, we lucked into getting a spacious room with a kitchen & living area, the price was right & the location is fantastic - walking distance to the beach and to all kinds of shops & restaurants.

Great location. You can park your car and have an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of St. Armand’s Circle, as well as to the beach. Funky place that has seen better days, but clean and quiet.

Pictures are more impressive than the actual room. Stayed in 1B and first impression was chandelier with burned out bulb and hole burned in the shade. Lighting was dim in the apartment making it really dreary. Building set in trees with little natural light getting in. Unbelievable amount of sand on the floors, especially the bedroom. Blanket in the closet had dirt and leaves in it and a crunchy spot of dried something or other that I’d like to hope was ice cream or other food product as opposed to bodily fluids. No one on site but a phone number to call for help. Tv didn’t work in bedroom but at midnight, felt uncomfortable calling anyone. Was happy we were only there for one night. Too many other nice places on Lido closer to the beach to recommend this place. Needs lots of love and attention.

Needs updating. Not perfect, but we still had a pretty good time. Supposed to sleep 5 or 6 with one on sofa bed, but sofa bed was horrible. Gave us rollaway before which was not much better.

Upon arrival they told us we did not have a reservation at the Lido Islander (I showed the email that confirmed that I DID have a reservation there), and insisted that my reservation was at their other property. Since it was closer to the beach we said that would be fine, but my reservation was in fact in my email and I shoed them. The other location was ok. Tiny little room that could really use some basic amenities. We didn't bring shampoo and there was nothing there, not even body wash. ONE very small soap - hardly enough for two people to share. No coffee (one packet would have been nice, considering there is nothing in walking distance). just some basic necessities can make or break a stay, in my opinion. The shower was yucky, for lack of a better term. The tub is so old it doesn't clean up well, and there was hair on the wall tile, telling me the cleaning job was not very thorough. They really need to just replace with a one-piece shower/but unit that is CLEAN looking. No one wants to get into a shower that is not or does not look clean.

There were no fresh towels available and the staff did nothing to remedy the problem. After leaving 3 messages, Daniel finally texted that the towels were replenished at 5 pm. However, I asked the other guests on the 2nd floor and they never got fresh towels either. One guest hadn't received any for their entire trip. You have to serve yourself and get your own towels when they replenish. Also, the AC 'froze' but no one returned calls to inform us of the problem. No amenities except a tiny face soap. No coffee... Nothing. I would never recommend this hotel.
