Love this hotel! Will definitely be staying again!

Place was not very clean. Charged me $50.00 extra for arriving 2 hours early.

This hotel was in a great location. Close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and the pier. However if you’re looking for a hotel with full amenities this is not the place for you. Most of their amenities were closed and it was disappointing considering we paid extra to stay there for the amenities and we were not warned ahead of time.

Nice location with rooftop bar/ eating area

This is a nice hotel, rooms were clean when we got there BUT, we got no housekeeping for 4 days! The least they could do is put a vacuum in the room! Sand was everywhere! They told us they only clean after 3 days but they didn’t come at all. We had to call when we wanted towels or toilet paper. They advertise amenities BUT the pool and spa were closed indefinitely, which is why we chose this hotel. We went to the rooftop at 5 minutes to 8:00 and they barely let us in, we wanted to have a cold drink and watch the sunset which happens around 8:30 but they close it at 8:00 evidently! We couldn’t go up the night before because it was rented out for an event. It’s a nice place and what little interaction we had with staff was fine I just feel like we were robbed of some of the things you go to a nice hotel for. I won’t be choosing them for another stay. I know a lot of places are short staffed due to covid but then they should put up a disclaimer so that customers can make a decision on whether they will choose this hotel or not, instead of being blindsided once they are there for check in.

Phone does not work in the room and housekeeping does not clean room or replace towels unless it’s requested daily. They also do not empty trash unless you place trash cans in front of room, in fact they don’t replace trash bags and they ask you to do so yourself despite charging $30/day resort fee. The front desk is not helpful whatsoever, even at check out does not print out invoice nor offer to email it. On top of it, despite the room was prepaid through Orbitz, front desk also charged additional local taxes in addition to resort fees. I would avoid this hotel at all cost, there are better lodging options in Pismo Beach.

Visited during Spring Break. First room we checked into was not clean enough. Hair on bathroom counter, spots left on bathroom mirror, debris under TV dresser and hair in entry area. Called the front and manager on duty came right over to take a look himself, which was greatly appreciated. He switched us to a different room and personally helped with luggage to new room. At this point, I would’ve given a 4 star still. But it just got worse. Turns out the pool is closed but website didn’t make it clear only saying it’s following guidelines. But other hotel pools are open so it was misleading and needless to say kids were incredibly disappointed since we would’ve chosen a different hotel with an open pool or different location for break. Sat morning, came down to only reataurant open by lobby and no one was there to help; turns out they were doing takeout only cause they were short staffed?! I was also told there was a wedding party so upstairs restaurant would be closed for dinner. Housekeeping NEVER came even when I called specifically to request room cleaning. Halls had debris at all times staircase had garbage. Housekeeping maids were so lazy and unfriendly and one person I saw sitting in the hallway floor with cart and sheets on floor blocking the hall while she was talking with a male maintenance or housekeeping personnel. I had to wait for her to move stuff out of the way to have room to walk past and she did so without apology or any word.

Service was terrible. Food was terrible as well.

COVID,,,DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! We asked to move our reservation (block of 3 rooms) as one of our guests was showing symptoms of Covid 19. The front desk supervisor responded "it's ok we don't take guests temperatures!!!" He was extremely rude, predatory, and without concern of public safety. I can say first hand that they are not taking the safety of their guests seriously and I would strongly suggest not staying here if health is of concern.
