I do not usually write reviews but i felt compelled to write this one. Overall the stay was fantastic, the staff was friendly and accommodating the property was clean, well kept and beautiful. The food was top notch from the tiki hut by the pool to their main restaurant iguana. Top quality iguana was so delicious as well as their other restaurant Roots. The pool tiki hut had very good food can't miss on anything from the menu. The prices are very reasonable not expensive at all. When visiting Puerto Rico we usually stay in San Juan this was the first time we stayed close to the rain forest and feom what we experienced we are going to stay here again. If you are looking for a nice laid back chill on the beach go site seaing into the mountains and taking a ride into the city then this is definitely the place. You will love it as much as we did. One suggestion if you are looking to explore the island or just go about then rent a car the taxi fares are very expensive $70.00 one way trip from the airport to the hotel $75.00 from hotel to old san juan. Of couse this has nothing to do with the hotel but just a heads up on the ins and outs of the whole trip.

Still awaiting my refund for the hotel fees that were promised at checkout. It has been 2 months since I’ve visited and am running after them via phone and email. Horrible service- coffee maker wasn’t working and room smelled like must.

Wonderful hotel! They can’t do enough for you. Beach, pool, casino, restaurants—everything we liked was there. They wanted to give us free champagne and when they discovered we don’t drink, they sent us fruit and cheese trays to fill the room. Excellent!

We seemed to be the last room to receive housekeeping services each day of our week long stay. Our bed was only made twice during the stay and the other times we had to chase the housekeeping staff down in the hallway to ask for fresh towels. The few times they showed up it was almost 4pm. It was unacceptable.

Great family stay! We stayed for 6 nights. Service was excellent. I’d read previously about difficulty getting restaurant reservations and poolside service, but we had no problems. Tip: make reservations in advance for hotel restaurants. We loved Roots and Iguana’s. The ONLY thing that wasn’t great was the breakfast buffet. After the first day we did room service breakfast and enjoyed that much more. We particularly loved the iguana that visited us at poolside (totally friendly). And the sea was very pretty. One night they even brought in a Beatles cover band that was very fun to watch. The hotel is far from Old San Juan so it’s perfect if your goal is to remain onsite at the resort most of the time.

Very clean and organized property.Beach was beautiful and the pool and water slide kept the kids occupied. Food and drink service was excellent.

The property was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. We wish they had more options to eat but overall we would stay there again.

it was a great vacation, the amenities were amazing

Great stay

The hotel staff and amenities were great. My only slight complain was that the hotel was very cold and ac must stay on in room bc of humidity.

The food at the hotel was great. The pool was lovely and the beach was great. Staff were very nice. I'd say the biggest issue was the condition of the room. Floors were NOT clean and judging from the brooms and mops on the cleaning cart, they are essentially moving dirt from one room to another. I took a wet towel and cleaned my floors after the service--to clean for us. Also the humidify in the room was very hard to manage. Our bedsheets and comforters were often wet because of uncontrolled humidity. HVAC needs an overhaul.

Staff was outstanding and hotel was clean . Not crowded . Rooms where clean as well as the pool and the beach .

Paid for ocean view. Arrived and we looking at a building. Had to ask for manager to get proper service. Rueben was very helpful. Very beautiful resort. Better explanation of what is offered would have been helpful. There were thing’s myself and other guest didn’t know that they could of explained at check in. I would visit again because it’s beautiful. I now know what to expect.

The beach was beautiful! The grounds themselves were kept perfect! The front desk staff was very accomodating, and the service people in the breakfast area, especially Juan, were amazing! My room was very nice facing the ocean. It was very clean and that I appreciated. Limited choices to eat dinner was disappointing. Not being able to order drinks or food at the beach was disappointing as well. Overall, the hotel made for a very pleasant experience. I would return back.

The property was ok and clean, but the staff was not very friendly and overall service was poor. Will not be going to this resort again. Not recommended.

The resort was beautiful! Everything was perfect.

What I enjoyed most about the property was it's overall beauty. The staff service was outstanding. Though there was an issue with mold found in my room. It was not recognized until my final day. The humidity is very high in the rooms and moisture creates mold. The front desk staff was informed and pictures accompanied. He was genuinely apologetic and offered a room credit which was appreciated. I would gladly stay again but would certainly check my room for mold upon check-in due to the moisture in the room.
