Good-sized space with amenities that made it comfortable. Location above a night club was a major problem because of the noise from one of the subwoofers early into the morning hours (every night, including weekdays) and the garbage trucks in the morning. Ear plug provided were a nice touch but not adequate for the subwoofer noise. Overall the room was not adequately cleaned. I did my only cleaning when I arrived but walking around in stocking feet turned them black and the shower had untreated mold. Rugs needed vacuuming. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Internet wa slow.

What a great place! Has everything and it’s in a great location close to everything. Super clean.

My son and I stayed the night before the Rock n Roll San Diego marathon and after locating the entrance -it's between 2 restaurants, there is a carpet with their name on it. The entrance kinda looks like you are going into a Speakeasy. Punch in your code, wind your way to the elevator, but when you get into the room, it'll be a wonderful surprise

Perfect place to stay for a quick visit to SD. Super convenient area, clean and comfy. I plan on bringing my wife here next time. Only con was room number wasn't provided in email instructions. When I arrived I had to call help line to get room number. Small con though.

If you want a traditional hotel experience, Nest of 5th is not for you, but if you want more relaxed I am at home experience, this might just be for you. But beware, it is in the middle of a party section of town. So, expect noise from other guests and nearby Night Clubs.

My stay at the Nest on 5th Street was very comfortable and convenient. The full kitchen was a nice perk too.

The studio was cute, clean and located in the heart of the Gas Lamp District! The studio was cute, clean, and the bed is super comfy. You walk out the hotel's front door and you are surrounded by restaurants and bars. It was super convenient to go bar hopping and walk a few blocks back to the hotel room. For overnight parking, we parked at a parking structure on 6th and Market, which was a block away from the studio room. We didn't interact with the staff because there was no staff on site. When I booked the studio, I received a code to the studio and the studio room for access. The staff who sent me the code and information regarding the studio was prompt. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location in the middle of all the best the Gaslamp has to offer. Unique property and concept.

Thanks so much for providing valuable feedback. We have re-caulked the showers and retrained our housekeepers on how to get the floors sparkling! We recommend guests who are light sleepers to request a rear facing room. If you decide to come back to San Diego, please let me know. I would love to welcome you back for another stay.

Thanks for your great review. Since your stay we've added a door hanger that has a check list of needed items. A guest checks off what they need, hangs it on the door by 1 pm and the items are delivered by 3 pm the same day! Please come again and try it out!. Happy new year.

Thanks for your feedback and review. We are glad you liked the location..it really is just steps from everything. We do have central air conditioning in the apartment but will look to make sure it was circulating properly in the unit you rented. Cheers.
