I liked the location. Right in the middle of all the action. I did not like having to walk down the hall to share a bathroom. Hotel needs updating! (Odor in hotel!)

The rooms are small but great location and you don’t spend much time in hotel anyway great place to crash for the night

The hotel is fine. shockingly noisy due to being near a bar.

Terrible place. Was not even the same picture as advertised. Had someone else’s luggage in the room . The deadbolt did not work for the key. Had to leave since I felt sooo unsafe. No one was there to check me in at all.

It was interesting. We were surprised when found out it was more of a hostel type of hotel. The room size was enough for us. My wife was at a conference all day, I was out and about at museums and such during the day. It is in the heart of the restaurant/bar area of San Diego, which was good and bad. The only negative of the time was with the bar below us, it was a little noisy at night, but we managed with ear plugs. The shower facilities and bathrooms were clean. The patio area was small but enjoyable. We spent a couple of afternoons there. Being in the heart of the area made it easy to get anywhere, from the San Diego zoo to the Embarcadero. You could either walk or make use of the great bus system.

This is a great, affordable budget hotel. The room was comfortable and cozy. It is located in the heart of downtown, which is a walkable location to many restaruants, bars and the boardwalk along the water. I would recommend bringing earplugs as the restaurants and bars play music until quite late each evening. The shared bathrooms are clean. I never met any of the staff, but they were available via text.

There was no one there to check us in, they checked us in via text message. When we checked out at 11am there was no one there to check us out. There was a hand written note on the door with instructions on what to do with the room key.

This place is much more affordable than most of the hotels nearby. The twin bed was pretty comfortable, as was the room. Shared bathroom was not a problem for me, although only one of the showers seemed to have hot water. It was cold the first two night and no one was around to turn up the heat or get me an extra blanket because it was the slow season, so maybe bring an extra sweatshirt and some warm socks. It's very loud at night, music blaring from the hotels and clubs in the area. That's the result of it being in a cool part of town, the Gaslamp Quarter, where there is a lot of nightlife. But this might not be the place for you if you need absolute quiet to sleep. The microwave and fridge worked well. Some mornings there was cofee.

booked this room for my granddaughter's cheer competition room was smaller than expected however she enjoyed her stay and said it was comfortable

Great place to stay for a cozy at home feel but definitely bare bones in terms of the amenities.
