They charged me for parking meanwhile I did not have a car. Still did not resolve the issue after 6 phone calls

It was a nice and clean room but the air conditioner was noisy and there were other noises coming from somewhere in the building. It was hard to sleep even though it was a comfortable bed.

It is within walking distance. I did not like they do not communicate and they seem to always over book themselves. Parking is overpriced and Forced to do valet, they over charge for incidentals, they initially gave me the wrong room and over charged my card.

Good location next to freeway. They didn't provide any room service over several days- COVID excuse. No food either. Charged $40 for parking daily which is very high, they have a garage but required to use valet so they can price gouge. No spa or gym that I could find. No amenities per se.

The parking was very expensive. $40 a night

Hotel property's still figuring out how to handle post-covid. All the amenities as Motel6 but still charging all they can. No common areas are open; /no food, pool, lobby bar, restaurant, or room service.(motel6 has room service).Seems san diego is block to block depending how much they need clients to spend $ rather than any medical concerns. Hotel trying to make up for losses before they even fully open? Could've dome some renovating during the last 18 months but clean enough if not dated.

Room very nice and I am understand about covid but not to offer housekeeping no shuttle the price wasn’t worth the stay

They were friendly and I will be back

Clean rooms, exceptional staff. Other hotel guests a bit questionable.

The Bad: No access to the balcony and you cannot open the windows - I was told this used it be a holiday inn and that they closed the balconies due to liability. Idiotic semi see through barn style sliding doors in the bathroom that don't close properly - you can literally see through the gap (provides much less visual and acoustic privacy than a normal door) Leaking roof in the lobby by the elevator. Lots of homeless people around the perimeter of the hotel (it's not their fault, but just be aware) Noisy refrigerator - had to shut it off in order to sleep. Outdated lighting setup - the room was very dark even with all the lights on No onsite parking unless you want to pay $30-35 for their valet parking per night (scam) No microwave in the room. The Good: Convenient location - right by Little Italy and downtown. Also right by I-5 - convenient for car access. Very comfortable beds Large TV Lots of off street parking when I stayed there so you don't have to pay $30 for their valet parking. Good views depending on the orientation and floor you're on.

Location was great, nice clean rooms and friendly staff

The staff was very friendly. The property sits in a weird location where it’s hard to locate. The parking stalls are very small and it’s really tight getting in and out of property.

Convenient property near shopping and dining with helpful service

Walls are too thin especially when there is an adjoining wall. Service was great. Check in was great. Easy to reach room service. $30 a night of car parking was reasonable.

Closed bar and no room services done during the stay

I felt comfortable and welcomed. The property felt safe and clean.

the room had a nice view from our 7th floor. the maid did not leave us a new box of Kleenex or a new roll of toilet paper on our second day. The front desk personnel were very helpful with our daily questions over our 4 day stay. Averaged 6 miles per day walking over the 4 days as this location was great for our itinerary.
