Everything was great

Really nice hotel; clean and comfortable. The Vault (bar) was a nice place to have a drink and relax. Service top-notch.

Excellent customer service and front desk service

We LOVE the Kimpton brand and this location is lovely. THE ONLY PROBLEM is parking. If you pay in advance for parking, note that it applies to valet, not the lot next door that looks attached. We asked the valet and front desk about this before checking in and they didn't know so we paid for parking, then we paid again, and again.

The hotel is lovely and has a cozy lobby with games to play with kids in front of a fireplace. We spent hours in the lobby as a family. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy with great pillows. The restaurant on site was overpriced for the food quality. I tried to order a glass of wine from the bar and no one waited on me even though three waiters acknowledged me. After 10 minutes I left disappointed. The bar was not crowded.

Garbage visit. I actually visit hotels nearly 60 times a year so my schedule w flights unfortunately is not convenient often times so we are sometimes forced to gain room service as an option. At this hotel Didi the front desk receptionist whom we called after getting no call backs 4 times from room service actually told us sorry it’s “one kid a microwave and another person working down here.” I didn’t even know what to say to that. Will never stay here again which is a shame bc I love salt lake but there are plenty of other nicer hotels. Don’t come here

Great location - walkable to everything downtown in SLC.

The shower had no water pressure and fluctuated hot and cold, was a really bad experience every morning

Great location. Lovely boutique hotel. Nice to have water and coffee in the lobby at all times. Service somewhat inconsistent.

Totally professional and helpful staff. Top notch. Great location, a few blocks from Temple Square. The restaurant was excellent, the best food on a 12 day trip (granted we were traveling in National Park cities.) Only quibble is the room size was a little skimpy for two people. two beds, and two sets of luggage.

I liked the free coffee and iced coffee in the lobby.

Great place!! Staff is amazing! Property is beautiful

Looks wonderful in the lobby. Rooms are tiny. Air conditioning went out first night, got a fan from a janitor (which was absolutely filthy). Shower did not drain. We would’ve love to move rooms to but were told it probably wasn’t possible. Upon returning one evening we asked if our air had been fixed or shower looked at, reception desk guy responded “ya, I think so.” I would not recommend this hotel.

Central to everything fun in Downtown. Awesome valet service and hospitality.

Hi Anonymous, thank you for staying with us and for your glowing feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed our Kimpton hotel and central downtown location. Please accept our apologies for the miscommunication on parking. We do our best to communicate the parking options at check in; however, the garage next door to us is owned by the building next door. Please reach out to us directly so we can make things right.

Hi Mak. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We know you have many options when you travel and appreciate your business. I am very sorry our In Room Dining did not meet expectations. We serve full menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a limited service late night menu. I apologize for the answer you were given and will be following up with our staff to ensure this issue does not happen again. We hope to regain your trust for future stays and would be delighted to discuss your visit further.
