Rugs disgusting. Pool empty

Convenient to Mayo Clinic

Easy parking, very accommodating staff.

Great staff and easy access to the Mayo

The rooms were disgusting. Bed bugs, mold in the AC especially, the beds had just a top sheet (exposed with no mattress cover), front desk young girl with gross nails and glasses was just downright unprofessional and misleading ON PURPOSE or just doesn’t like middle aged girls in general, the manager pretended to make up for her mistake but she put me in a room that would be terrible for anyone - let alone like me whose being treated at the Mayo for serious physical issues. I would never recommend this hotel to my loved ones or family. Parking is not guaranteed - the fridge and microwave was just as disgusting and no receipts would be given. I am soaked with disgust.

Close to Mayo.

This was my 3rd stay at Kahler Inn over a 3 yr period. I already knew it smelled & not terribly clean, but this time was so gross. Bed bugs, black molded mat inside the tub that cannot be removed, small curly hairs on the sink's soapdish, ice maker broken on several floors, crusty scum on faucets, poorly patched hole in the wall, toilet overflowed for no reason but maintenance had already left for the day so had to change rooms, staff was rude. Asked to speak to a Manager but none on the property, nor did they know when she might return, nor would she answer her cell phone when they tried. In the new room, heat would not go on High setting, only Low, so I was cold...again no maintenance around. "Due to covid" they no longer offer shuttle service to the airport (although other hotels still do). They were unwilling to even call me a taxi until I caused a scene. Then was told the taxi service was too busy then, and no ETA. I scrambled to call Rochester shuttle for a $35 pick up next. Which they felt sorry for me & pulled the driver off his route to help me out...he went 80 mph to the airport for me, although I still missed my flight. The hotel is incredibly close to Mayo clinic which is so helpful due to my difficulty walking, & the cheaper price very helpful too, but I will never stay there again!

The hotel has the potential to be a great place to stay, but is really outdated. So close to all of our Mayo appointments.

Staff at check in was very rude. Not friendly at all very short answers no personality. Underground parking was expensive and only for small cars. Hard to find a spot because most cars took 1.5 spots

Furniture in room a bit run down. Also, I had to wipe down areas with suspect substance stuck to it. (nightstand) There were hairs in sink which also had a cracked sink bowl. Location of course was the primary plus. I was able to check in a little earlier which allowed me to work in my room and stay out of the public in between appointments at the Mayo. A plus in these covid infected days.

I liked how close in proximity this hotel is to all the Mayo Clinic facilities and how easy it was to get around. I didn't like that everything was shut down (it IS covid pandemic so its understandable) but even the water costs an arm and a leg ($3 a bottle at front desk..)

Location is convenient as it is across the street from the Mayo Clinic and connected by pedestrian subways

Close proximity to Mayo clinic and restaurants all within walking distance. We didn't like the heating/cooling system, which wasn't working properly. Very close quarters parking ramp and driving in the parking ramp narrow passage ways very little room meeting other vehicles. Otherwise was all good staff very friendly and helpful.

The room accommodations are meager at best. The room is dingy, the bathroom was disgusting. The tub just looked filthy even though they cleaned, no water pressure, the toilet was on a tilt and the sink didn't drain well. The only good thing is the location being close to the Mayo Clinic. Otherwise, I would not recommend to stay at the Kahler Inn .

Thank you for taking the time to review the Kahler Inn & Suites. I appreciate your honest feedback so that I may address your concerns with the management team and take corrective action. I strive to provide excellent service to all guests and to create a healing environment. It saddens me to hear that your stay was not what you were expecting. These are unusual times in the hotel industry and so we are doing our very best to meet and exceed guest expectations. While many services have changed with-in our hotel to accommodate covid restrictions we still do our best to offer the best possible service and experience. Thank you for choosing the Kahler Inn & Suites.
