Beautiful ocean front Hotel. We had an amazing time!!!!

Check-in was pretty painless. I was able to temporarily leave my car in the front circle while I walked into the lobby to speak to the front desk for check-in. They offered to leave my stuff locked up in storage since my room was not ready when I arrived. Standard check-in time was 3pm but I arrived a bit earlier. They did give me wristbands so that I could access the pool though. They have a private outdoor parking lot directly adjacent to the hotel with a security guard where I parked my car. Location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is located right on the boardwalk with beach access directly in front of the hotel as well. The heated pool on the second floor is pretty nice except that they didn't have enough umbrellas, clean towels or people working there to help people with requests. On most days, people came early and just left a book or shoes to claim their spot (chairs with umbrellas or cabanas) so most chairs had stuff on them with no one really there which was pretty annoying. Room service was terrible. One of the days, I had to specifically ask for towels since none were left in my room. The espresso pods were also not refilled so I had to ask for those. Another day, room service was not done - I had to ask specifically twice to finally get it done (asked at 1pm and 3:40pm). This was totally unacceptable. I did not have a good experience at the restaurant attached the the hotel (100 Ocean). My child was actually served uncooked chicken fingers which were pink inside.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay during the early spring. The pool, pool deck and beach chairs were not available during our stay and we were obligated to pay the resort fees (!). The property, however, is nice and clean and located in prime location.

No easy Breakfast service until 8am. Not even coffee. No access to the pool deck, disappointing. On site mexican restaurant had an hour long wait time, even though they were empty.

The Resort fee for the dead of Winter is ridiculous. I wish they'd just increase the night stay instead of this stupid "Resort Fee". Dumbest add-on ever.

Wonderful service and gorgeous views from the superior king room. Daniella greeted us and she was so sweet. Room service staff was great and attentive. Rooms are modern chic with good snacks and free sanitizer ;)

I had made reservations and came to travel 2 hours, and when I arrived late at night the receptionist didnt want to let me in since I didnt have 4 on the cc that I made the reservation on, she also wouldnt accept cash or $ off my daughters cc that I had on me, so my wife and me turned back at around 11:30 pm and drove back home a way of 2 hours and arrived 1:130 am its was a awful experience where I felt that no common sense was used by the receptionist to let us take room and she will figure things out in the am they definitely lost a customer !!!

Facility was nice and clean and staff very attentive. My issue was with the use of the facilities. Guests were not allowed use of facilities before check in (3pm) and after checkout (11am). I have stayed in many hotels/resorts, and I have never experienced this rule (even during the COVID pandemic). I witnessed other guests also complaining about this policy.

Pool staff and bar staff great as well as restaurant staff. Had an excellent experience with the woman who checked us out. Very courteous and customer oriented Disappointing. That for the price of the rooms they do not even throw in a daily bottle of water for each guest staying in the room. Not a good move. And some of front desk staff were not very outgoing. Just there to get a job done and a check. Not the most hospitable for a welcome at the entrance of the hotel. Overall loved the hotel and majority of staff.

All staff was very attentive and friendly. They were very upfront and on it with wearing a mask and keeping everything well cleaned and disinfected after use. We had an incredible time and would recommend Wave Resort to everyone!

The room was a little dusty, there weren’t enough luggage carts available. One of the staff members at Buzzbait was a little rude and actually handed me the wrong food before verifying my name. Housekeeping mixed up things such as the remote control off the bed when cleaning the sheets, and when I called the front desk they weee more concerned with checking if they actually had it vs. making sure I would get another one. Could barely get buzzbait or in room dining on the phone and I didn’t appreciate buzzbait leaving the food on the floor. They would also not deliver nor would 100 ocean deliver plates... they expect you to eat out of carton boxes!!!
