The pricing was decent however it should be cheaper ..the room was freezing all night they have a sheet as a cover

smell in the room. Otherwise it feels OK and clean.

I had made reservations so I had no idea what or where really was. When I pulled into the place I was VERY disappointed on the out side appearance of the place. In fact if I was driving by and needed place to stay I would of kept on driving. It looks like a pay by the hour type place. After signing in I got a free bottle of water. I had read in another review saying water was not good to drink there. BUT after going to the room I was blown away on the inside it looked like a much more expensive motel. one more thing not against the hotel but how close it is to the highway. Very noisy. Very hard to find this place as no real address that a GPS recognizes.

Decent. I’d stay again next month easy access and centrally located helps. A little pricy

I walked into a messy room and there was a woman spread eagled out on the bed. I demanded a different room and got it. But I still felt uncomfortable because there was furniture dismantled all over the parking lot. By the time I checked out, the lobby door was locked. I knocked several times and a woman, barefoot and in her pajamas, answered the door to take me key. Yeah, overall, this place was sketchy. Never ever go. I take no pleasure in leaving bad reviews, but I find it extremely necessary in this case.

This hotel was terrible. I don't even know why Orbitz would want to recommend this hotel. It was dirty and shabby. Our door lock was broken as if someone kicked door open, Holes in a cheap shower curtain, Spackled patches on walls, smoke alarm hanging and beeping all night. We arrive late at night and had to other hotel to go to. The next day we checked out. As we were leaving a man paid cash for his room and he walked into a hotel room with what was obviously a call girl. I am happy to say tho That Orbitz did return my money for both nights,

I have been in Southeast Asian- American owned hotels many times and relished their cleanliness and attention. This place is missing some love. It looks as if this place was in very bad shape at some point, they fixed the rooms as best as they could, but then they had no more energy for the public spaces. It is cluttered, poorly maintained, and the employees need to learn how to welcome people. At least they need to straighten the fake plants outside, clean the grime on walls and doors, cut the edges of fraying carpets with a scissor, and clear the mess inside the office and front desk, all things that cost no money. Here is an idea: There is one room that has "baroque" furniture and bright lemon yellow walls. It made me wonder how much more fun would my experience had been if this hotel had a Southeast Asian theme in the rooms and everywhere else, instead of trying to be generic and not knowing how to go about it. How about the Krisna room? How about the Rama room? Ghandi Room? Geez! Taj Mahal room? Some love folks, put some love in there.

Everything was about average. Do not expect much from the breakfast. A little noisy because of route 9. Staff was outstanding though

The DAYS INN of FREEHOLD, NJ was right on Route 9 north of US195, very close to our family & close to many places to eat. But upon our arrival we noticed a motel in need of a new paintjob. The parking lot was quite accessible, but the lines were in need of painting for spaces. When we walked into our room ( a handicapped room) everything seemed nicely done. The A/C worked very well. But the sink in the bathroom was old & rusty, sprayed with silver paint & held onto the wall by a wire wrapped around the faucet. The bathroom door would not shut all the way (it dragged on ground) & the wall paper was pealing away near the toilet. The bathroom ceiling plaster was bubbled & pealing & the whole room needed painting. My wife found several small black bugs on the floor of our room and during the night we froze because we could not find the bed blanket. Apparently when the maid staff made the bed they neglected to put the blanket on the bed, because we found it on the floor at the foot of the bed. The FREE CONTINENTAL breakfast was ok but nothing like the COMFORT SUITES INN which we have stayed at before this trip. The broken white binder with television channels & map of the area was not up to standard & there was not breakfast time posted in the room anywhere. The people at the front desk were quite welcoming & polite, no problems with the staff, but the room & bathroom was what we had come to expect at a motel the quality of a "DAYS INN". We will not stay here again, it is back to the COMFORT INN SUITES for our family on our next trip up to N.J. Two Stars is just barley good enough for this motel, despite being located right on Route 9 North. Even the coffee maker leaked hot water all into the machine & over the small fridge below. We wish we had better thing s to say about this DAYS INN but that was not the case during our two days stay. We slept OK & stayed plenty cold during the N.J. HEAT WAVE IN September 2014.

We go there every year to carshow its nice everything you need peaceful

Adequate. Clean, no odors, well-maintained. It meets expectations.

Met our need for an overnight room. The restaurant/bar has been out of service due to construction for 2 years. Batteries in smoke detectors need changing.(beeping all night)Paint peeling outside.

Family reunion nearby; In past years, '70's and 80's when touring states I had found Days Inns to be cleaner, and in better shape....always economical then.

This hotel was cold and drafty. Door did not close properly and the wind blew right threw. I will not stay at this hotel again. In fact, I will not stay at any independently owned Days Inn again as a result of my poor experience.

Thank you for your feedback. Your experience is important to us, and we appreciate that you took the time to bring your concerns to our attention. We wish you would have let the front desk know you were cold. We would have gladly assisted you with the operation of our heat which would have made the room nice and warm. We also would have been happy to provide you an extra blanket. We hope to see you again in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We are really happy you found our newly remodelled rooms a pleasant surprise. There is nothing wrong with our water. It is well water and is inspected regularily as per local requirements. We provide a bottle of water at checkin as a courtesy. We hope as we continue our improvements you will like our outside appearance as much as you liked our rooms. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

We are very sorry to hear of your negative experience, however we do not believe it was at our motel. We have an experienced staff and we do not rent rooms with people in them. We do not have furniture all over our parking lot and we have a twenty four hour front desk. We do not know when the incident you described happened, and we can only assume it was not our Freehold Motel.
