Nice hotel, close to the beach and right next to the Park. Great breakfast and nice restaurants!!

Amazing location in order to visit the park. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Next morning breakfast was on my best breakfast

So pleased with my stay. The staff really was what made my trip. Everyone was very friendly and really seemed to look out for you. They were very prompt when I needed anything and were always very helpful. I felt very safe in my hotel and my room was always very clean. The restaurants were both great and the amount of time they put into making their drinks was amazing. They honestly had the best drinks I have ever had. The staff was soooo kind and always went out of their way to make sure I was having a good stay. The pools were all awesome. Security was great too! Beach access was ideal. 10/10 overall

Located right next to Manuel Antonio was a huge bonus. You can walk to the park and not deal with parking. Monkeys in the trees right outside hotel. Only issue was we booked a double bed room for my family of four. A couple days before, I was notified we'd have a king with two cots. There was very little room to move around as a result. They did upgrade us to a better room, though. Our kids LOVED the pool, but the hot tub was a warm tub. Walk to the free public beach, which was great.

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel San Bada. The staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The beach was good.

Good. Food was average. Workers were nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Staff were the best part about San Bada. The location is nice as it sits on level ground which almost all properties nearby do not. Emelio was the best employee. All staff were very good, but Emelio was awesome. The property has lots of little things that should be done as basic upkeep. On the plus side, we did see some of the issues being addressed while we were there. New pain on the hotel, new covers for the poolside awnings. The beach nearby is ok at best. But, none of the hotels in the area have their own beach per se. San Bada was the nicest hotel we saw near a beach. There were some nicer hotels nearby, but they were built on the side of the mountain and you were stuck with a pool and lots of stairs and then you would have to drive to a beach. We traveled with another couple and no kids. I want to take my kids, but I am not sure any if Quepos is really a child friendly area. I saw child friendly in that I don't know there is enough to keep them occupied for a week. Maybe San Bada staff can reply, do they have any two-bedroom suites or adjouning rooms if I did bring my kids we could stay in? It seemed most people staying on this property were Caravan tours that were in and out in one day. It didn't bother me at all, just seemed odd there were not more people like us who stayed there the entire week.

Nice comfy hotel located right next to the entrance of the National park. 5 min walk to the beach, but the path leading to the beach smells bad like urine? Has a nice pool for kids.

We had an amazing experience at Hotel San Bada to celebrate 4 nights for our 10th anniversary. The staff was fantastic and friendly. The pools were well maintained and not crowded. The location was incredible; we were steps from the national park and just a few more steps from the beach and restaurants. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the top floor with seating to watch the sunset--absolutely beautiful.

good location - next to park and easy walk to beach and restaurants. hotel spotless and rooms nicely decorated. front-desk staff did not give me any problem when I asked to stay a few hours beyond the scheduled checkout time. while the restaurant food was good, my one adverse comment is that it was very expensive.

Out of four locations I have stayed in Manuel Antonio this was by far the friendliest. Location is wonderful, rooms nice and very clean, d dinning was great! Spa was to die for..... Staff was the most friendly in all of Costa Rica!

The hotel is located a few steps away from the park entrance and walking distance to the other beaches. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff was ALWAYS helpful and cheerful. You have to take a cab to most of the good restaurants and bars but they are fairly cheap. If you walk down the beach towards Quepos you can find monkeys who will walk right up to you. The slide is a lot of fun but a little scary. I liked that there was an adult pool on the roof so we could get away for a while :)
