Have to stay Maria Ene our housekeeper was amazing. While our 7 day stay our room was immaculate clean and supplied. Thumbs up for her and her professionalism.

I loved the swim up room i had the whole property was amazing

Check in was a disaster. It was a mix up where the reservation was made for one person and the hotel tried to take advantage and charge us WAY more to add the other name to the reservation. “Privilege” is a joke because everything was a joke because most things were closed. Aggressive sales people to try to get into their travel club. Was made false promises, staff just said things that were untrue. Henry the bartender/waiter was A Franklin the bartender was great Luis the “privilege” butler also was A The hotel is “new” but still doesn’t explain the lack of service. One night at the buffet it seemed like end of days because the locals were able to come into the property, which is fine, but it was a very disorganized, dissatisfied, disappointing experience to ensure. Beautiful hotel but in short service sucked. Also the beach was TERRIBLE with the seaweed. Could not enjoy the beach at all.

I loved the service given by Franklin at the poolside bar in the privileged area! He made my stay very comfortable and always went above and beyond for me and my spouse 😃

Understaffed but really nice

I loved the variety of restaurants for dinner. So many good ones to choose from. I wish there was a little more to do during the day in case of rainy weather.

The service was very slow when you are waiting to be seated. Employees are not to friendly. I had a situation where a night manager(John) was very unprofessional with his co workers. John was screaming at them twice at his office. Not once but twice. The last incident is that I was there too long with information center. And he wanted to know why I was there too long. These two ladies were very nice and they were helping me out because I was very new at El Faro. John is a horrible manager and they need to replace him. He don't have people skils and no leadership skills. These two ladies were very frightened the way he came across to them. You called that hostile environment. John might have problems at home and bringing to work. That's not right what he is doing. He taking advantage of his power and his position. This matter needs to be addressed ASAP before El Faro employees leave due to his behavior. Thank you some much for your time. Anthony Flores

Spectacular service and rooms are crisp and swanky!!!! Beautiful lobby.

This Property is fantastic and not only because the location , amenities etc etc but the beautiful people who works hard to make sure every guess it’s happy and leave with a beautiful experience back home I wish I could mention every single person but here’s a few that made my stay beyond wonderful ; Juan Santana, Kennedy Mister, Moises, Eliza , Emanuel (front bar) yokairis, Félix, José and the girls at Mikes Cafe , Raquel,anyuli, Willy, Rafael, Yan carlos , Juan ( supervisor ) and many many more that. I can’t remember the names who made this stay unique and leave us with the desire to come back very very soon!!! thank you all
