The property itself is lovely and charming, however it felt very dated and is in desperate need of updating. The ac on the main floor was hardly operating, the hall and room carpets were old - and really need to be removed. Our room on the 4th was clean but the sheets had stains, and the room, while clean - felt dirty because it was so old (and again old carpets). Even my hubby took notice of all the spiders and their webs by the elevator when we left (and he notices nothing!). Last time we stayed (8 years prior) we had a nice breakfast but they were no longer offering breakfast (at least on a Monday). The restaurant is also dated but the food looked delicious. The desk help was very kind. Overall, I would not consider staying again until they update. They can definitely maintain the charm with updates!

Lost power most of the night. Air conditioner barely functional.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel except the insane price of $365 that I paid. It would be a very nice hotel at $160- but nothing exceptional whatsoever about it compared with others at that price. What IS exceptional is it's history- so if you don't mind paying two hundred dollars extra because some generals stayed there in the 1800s, there are better choices.

Mold in the ac unit, recent water damage in the ceiling as well as rude bartender.

Hospitality is great. everyone is very attentive. this is such a nice little hotel close to a very victorian perfect little town. I would loved to come back :)

Surprisingly luxurious hotel in the middle of town. Yummy onsite restaurant and bar. Clean rooms with flat screen tvs and mini bar.

Charming, small hotel in the heart of downtown Lambertville. Great staff

Thank you for sharing your experience with us at the Lambertville House. Our apologies that our Housekeeping staff missed the spiderwebs by the elevator and stain on the sheets as this is not acceptable. The Lambertville House is a historic property built in 1812 therefore part of the charm is the old, historic feel. We are sorry you felt the property was dated but certainly appreciate your feedback.

Good afternoon. We are sincerely sorry that the city power outage which effected all businesses from 2PM-7PM in Lambertville had a negative impact on your stay. The AC in your room is functioning at normal levels when the correct settings were in place.

Thank you for your feedback as we appreciate your input. We are sorry to hear you felt the price was too high for your stay. Weekends in the Lambertville/New Hope are in high demand and prices are on the high side. For future stays, our weekday pricing is lower as our rates do start at $195.
