Beautiful view onto the center plaza and of the astronomical clock. The staff were wonderful and very helpful!

Great location, well appointed and distinctive room

Although this hotel is in the area of Old Town it is extremely difficult to enter as it is set between what has to be the busiest area of the city. Noise and congestion does not even begin to describe the daily battle to exit the area. Our room was on a third level accessed only through a different building entirely. There was no elevator. Our room had no air conditioning with outdoor temperature of 85 degrees. We faced the incredibly noisy square and had to open the windows for air and then had to hear the constant city noise we’ll into the early morning hours. All in all, a disaster for us!

Hotel is close to everything which worked out great for the Christmas Market in Old Town Square and fireworks on New year's Eve.

Hotel in the center location facing astronomical clock but unfortunately it’s difficult to find the entrance. Main entrance is into restaurant then hotel on the second floor. Hotel has two separate buildings entrance which connected through the street only, multiple floors without elevator with stiff stairs. Rooms are clean and spacious, comfortable bed, safe is small. Breakfast is in main building, poor varieties and don’t look always fresh to me. However it’s enough to keep you full till lunch time.

Close to all the sites and very friendly, accommodating staff.

Everything pleasing and hotel is well decorated. Staff was quite accomodating. Fast check-in/out. Breakfast has room for improvement.

I have never stayed at an hotel right there in Old Town Square. The location was excellent, the price was great, the hotel was very nice, and very nice staff. The breakfast was AWESOME! I had no troubles getting back into the hotel at my kind of "late/morning" hours :)

Hotel is right in the square across from the clock tower. Hotel is very clean and rooms were pretty with old style furnishings that made it unique. Staff was very nice. Restaurants are right outside the door as well as shopping. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff, facility, and service were excellent. From arrival to departure, we were assisted whenever needed. Set across from the astronomical clock in one corner of the square, you will be in the midst of all that is taking place, yet the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The Grand is a set of three buildings combined to produce a wonderful Old World hotel experience. Three restaurants affiliated with the hotel provide a range of eating options for a quick lunch or evening meal after a long day out and about in Prague. Although located in Old Town, access to New Town and Lesser Town (don't miss this), and the Vltava River for a walk, run, or relaxing cruise are very easy.

This hotel went far beyond our expectations. The location was extremely convenient, the free breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the interior was quaint and aesthetic. We enjoyed our stay here every day.

Almost passed right by due to the Cafe Mozart on the first floor, but I still recommend this place due to its convenience. Watch your table if you eat alone. The table will be quickly cleared if you get up for a refill from the breakfast buffet.

The Hotel was wonderful. Better than expected. Concierge and all hotel employees went out of there way to make our stay extra special.

we were there for the new years loved everything about the hotel.

warning: not appropriate for limited mobility and youg children clients due to multipe flights of stairs to access room, otherwise the best location for city visit

Great experience from check-in to check-out, no hassles and no problems. Staff were very helpful, room was amazing with a view that we captured and posted. Walk out the door and you're in old town square so food, drinks and lots to see and do. Also, you are across from the clock tower so expect to hear it and any concerts in the square, but really that just made the experience more enjoyable.

Is a shame that you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, the hotel is located on a very busy place, so there is noise outside. Also is located in a historic building and never reaches the parameters of the hotel chain type.
