Nice location and cozy rooms. Also had delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies in one of the lounge areas. Only downside is the squeaky wood floors. You can't sneak up on anybody in this place!

I felt like I went back in time to late 1800's in this property, and that is not a good thing. This property needs lots and lots of work. The one good thing is that it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, everything else was sooo soo bad. Our bedroom door had a massive crack on the top so there was no privacy really, and the walls/floors are paper thin - you can hear everything. We went to dinner and came back around 8:30pm. By 9:15pm, our neighbors upstairs arrived and had definitely been drinking and had a bit of a party in their room. Must have been 6 people at least. Music was playing, they were yelling, it was horrible. By 10:30pm by husband went downstairs to complain and no one was at the front desk since they shut between 9-7pm. There is a number you can call which he did, but no one picked up and he called twice. Ridiculous. We were out of there so fast in the morning, and hope the memory of this place disappears soon. :(

No space to put your bathroom things out, had to put up the ironing board. Tub was dangerous for elderly or impaired. Air conditioner loud and in the wrong window for sleeping Room 14. Porch great lunch was great.

Two long flights of wooden stairs and faulty airconditioning made for an uncomfortable sstay.

The Inn is located in the middle of the town center with access to off street parking. The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and clean with a large queen size bed and to our delighted we had a private bathroom.

Thank you for your kind review and glad you were able to enjoy the Chocolate Chip cookies - they can disappear quickly! Agreed the squeaky floors and doors are hard to escape its part of our New England heritage.

The Kennebunk Inn was built in 1799-age has it charms and its challenges. We have been adding more insulation and new windows during annual renovations to help reduce noise.Unfortunately we can not always control the noise level of the guests.Three phone number are posted at the front desk to help with any guest emergencies or needs. The first number is our in-house contact and the other two are the owners of property. We regret that your visit did not meet your expectations.

This is a 1799 building which we work with its small spaces and lack of central air. We have replaced over 75% of tubs but we are family owned business making improvements each and every year with budget in check
