This was the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed at this hotel. If I get in to PDX late at night and have to leave early in the a.m., it doesn't make sense to go to more a expensive hotel for only 5-6 hours of sleep. This time, however, I was upset about the web page (at least on Orbitz) advertising the free airport shuttle when they stopped this service 1.5 years ago when Covid hit. This is false advertising, sorry. You've had ample time to remove this. I then spent almost $40 on taxis to and from the hotel. I avoided other hotels simply because they did not have the free shuttle.

Issue 1 - Upon arrival to the office, there were 6 people in line (just after 3p check-in time) and apparently their main computer was down so the two office staff had to use their phones to check people in. Issue 2 - No WiFi (I’m assuming because their computer was down). Issue 3 - The beds had sheets ONLY and no blanket/duvet. Issue 4 - The buildings were run down and looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 90’s. Paint was chipped/peeling, doorjamb in my room looked like it had been broken into MANY times and repaired with wood bonding and superglue. Issue 5 - Because of the surrounding area being VERY SKETCHY, I decided that I would NOT leave my vehicle in the lot while I was away from the room. Issue 6 - When I returned to the hotel at 1130p, there was a Portland Police vehicle parked directly in front of my room. I entered my room and called the front desk asking if they knew the reason that the police were here. They said they didn’t know but it happens OFTEN.

Chose this property because it advertised airport shuttle, pool, and breakfast. No shuttle, pool closed because it was dirty, no breakfast. No check-in till 3, but when we tried to check-in at 4 the office was closed. The rooms were fairly clean but the curtains in one room were tied up and couldn't be opened.

There is no Wi-Fi there is no airport shuttle as Orbitz promised

There were spiders all over in our room. The swing bar was falling off the wall. The neighborhood was crazy, and we witnessed a crime happen right in front of our room and had to call the police.

Noisy, smelly, missing bedding, unwelcoming checkin staff, not a good experience except for convenience to transit.

Loved the 5 cup coffee maker in my room. Nice touch.

We have been waited so long for the shuttle to pick us up, and waited so long to check in, only one person before me. The bathtub water stuck inside, we quickly checked out the next day instead of 5 days staying.

There was a strong smoking smell in the room.. since checked in too late, didn't bother to let front desk know

Near the airport which was very convenient at the hour that I landed after a long flight.

On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, there was hot water, the shuttle was convenient and the breakfast was pretty good. On the negative side, the room was very cold, the heater/window unit didn't work great and was too noisy to use at night anyway, you could hear every foot step of people on 2nd floor above, and the staff at the front desk was hit and miss. We would probably try some of the other hotels in the area before going back but wouldn't completely rule out returning for a quick stay before or after a flight.

Easy check in and great breakfast, room was clean and comfortable

No elevator :( didn’t care when I was 30 but at 56 would prefer one if on second floor

I was so impressed with Robert, the person managing the front desk in attending to our needs and his kindliness with everyone. He should be rewarded! He made the place.

Convenient too the airport and good shuttle service.
